Trees, trees, trees! This property offers comfort indoors and out. With the tall pines and oaks plus the natural perimeter, this comfortable little house in the woods provides our guests with a secluded yard and a covered patio/car port. It truly is a quiet haven in the woods.
Woodside Guesthouse’s spacious design features ample living space and a generous master with ensuite bath. For those working remotely, the floor plan offers a desk in the bedroom plus counter top seating and a full size kitchen table. Living space is both cozy and spacious with matching leather couch and love seat, both of which feature electric recliners. The master features a queen-size bed plus a generously-sized walk-in closet. The kitchen has terrific storage…all you need are groceries. Washer and dryer are provided inside unit.
NOTE: Photos show the rental’s decor in progress. Mirrors, rugs and more will be in place by your arrival to make this house a real home away from home. Owners Frank and Becky Thompson are experienced hosts with other rentals in the area and take great pride in their excellent ratings. While this home is brand new on VRBO, they are certain it will be a top rental in the area very soon as future reviews will tell.
PARTIAL HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: All doors are 36 inches wide, and there are no steps on this property. Only the combination tub/shower are not handicap accessible.

This was first-designed to serve as a large "granny flat," so there is another unit on the property, the main house. The two units have completely separate entries and yards and also have individually designated parking. They both boast Woodside charm, privacy and comfort.

This was a nice little property tucked away in a wooded neighborhood. The hosts were great and accommodating. It’s great for a couple or for small family if need be.
Becky was an amazing hostess and responded very quickly to messages. We were there during Hurricane Beryl and she checked on us and made sure everything was good. The house is in a nice neighborhood, was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!
Everything was very neat and tidy, Becky was incredibly responsive and helpful, quiet neighborhood and it was exactly what we needed! Would recommend highly!
Warm greetings welcomed us to a comfortable home. Although we were secluded, we always felt secure. The kitchen was set up so we could cook our own meals. The property is only a short distance to shopping, dining and entertainment. A very relaxed vacation.
The property was perfect for what I needed and was as described. My month-long stay while waiting for my new home to be ready couldn't have gone smoother. The property had what I needed and the fenced yard worked very well for my dog. Becky was extremely responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property!
Becky is the best possible host. Checked in occasionally. The unit is immaculate, well stocked, and could not ask for more serene setting. My doggies loved the fenced grassy yard. Quiet streets so able to take them on long walks. We loved the decor too.Convenient to restaurants and groceries. Would rate it a 10 if we could!
The property is a little away from Tomball which makes it amongst trees. The owner has set up for taking in dogs. He has built an amazing dog run which gives the dog freedom to run outside. The cottage is very nice to stay in that it is clean, gives you everything you want including washer and dryer. Supply's for everything you would need are available from day one which gives you a good start.Becky met us at door, explained all the basics and gave us her contact number. No need to call in 2 months of staying there in comfort and seclusion although town is just a few miles away.
Frank and Becky Thompson married in 1987 and traveled the road of entrepreneurship, with Frank first operating a mobile gymnastics company and then a full-service tree company until recently. Becky was always in the mix of those businesses while she homeschooled their four children (all adults now) and taught homeschool classes for many others. With gymnastics and trees behind them and their kids launched, the Thompsons are focusing entirely on their short/midterm rental properties, which have gradually and happily become full-time jobs. We began hosting short-term and midterm rental guests in 2015 when Frank converted our first rental, formerly his office for the mobile gymnastics company, into a lovely two-bedroom apartment. Even though the NW Houston area is not a vacation destination, the business model was perfect for families in the growing area who were between homes, business people on temporary assignment, traveling nurses, and retirees visiting down south for the winter months. With that one success and Frank's love for home rehabilitation, we joined the fix-and-flip craze, dropped the flip idea, and began adding to our properties. As of this writing, we are up to 10 properties in Tomball, Magnolia, and Cypress. Our favorite part of it all is the people. We have met fascinating folks from all walks of life, even all over the world. Best of all, this business has not only blessed us. Our homes have served countless people now - those displaced by storm damage, some stranded in the area by health issues while on vacation, missionaries here on furlough, professional ball players in the off-season, people in the area to care for sick and aging relatives, and often those here for wonderful holidays and celebrations. It is a blessing to be a blessing, and we pray our properties will bless many more individuals in the future.

You can curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book or go on a long walk with equal satisfaction and comfort. - Solitude: Even though the rest of the big world is at your fingertips, this property is extremely private and peaceful.
