Hi guys! The Tung here. You can call me Tung or Vincent. I live in Hanoi, Vietnam and I love food & coffee. I will be thrilled to share my list with you. Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it feels like the soul of Hanoi.
There’s something timeless about the Old Quarter — the way mornings begin with the sound of street vendors setting up, the gentle clatter of coffee cups in old cafés, and the scent of fresh herbs from a bowl of phở on the corner. Every little street here tells its own story. Some are lined with silk and lanterns, others hum quietly with the daily rhythm of locals.
What I enjoy most is the balance between vibrancy and peace. Just a few steps from my door, I can dive into the energy of the Night Market, Hoan Kiem Lake, or the weekend walking streets. But when I return home, it’s calm again. The pace slows. I can hear birds, not motorbikes.
There’s also something very human about this neighborhood — it’s not polished or perfect, but it’s alive, kind, and full of surprises. Whether it’s a spontaneous cup of trà đá with a local vendor, or stumbling into a hidden art gallery, you never know what small moment might brighten your day.
That’s why I chose this neighborhood. Because it’s not just a place to visit — it’s a place to feel.

What makes this property unique
What makes this space unique is how it quietly gives you everything you need — in the most central, walkable part of Hanoi.
While many stays in the Old Quarter offer location, few combine it with the simplicity and privacy you’ll find here. The studio is tucked on a peaceful stretch of Bat Su Street, just steps from the night market and walking streets — yet once you’re inside, it feels calm, clean, and personal.
Guests love how everything essential is already inside the room:
– a smart TV for winding down at night
– a microwave, electric kettle, and mini fridge for simple meals or late-night snacks
– blackout curtains for restful sleep, and a small desk to catch up on journaling or work
We also offer self check-in with passcode and keycard, so you can arrive at your own pace without waiting.
And for travelers on the go, there’s a free locker system so you can leave your bags and explore before check-in or after check-out — no stress, no rush.
It’s not a fancy place. But it’s warm, practical, and thoughtfully put together — the kind of home base that quietly supports your trip without getting in the way.
That’s what makes it unique.
