There was staff there that came in every morning to straighten up. They would wash the dishes, clean our laundry, make the beds, and take out trash. It was so nice to be able to come back from surfing and have a clean place every day. They had a market within the neighborhood where we were able to buy some essentials and also rent equipment for Pickleball or volleyball. The host wasn’t the most responsive with getting back right away through chat, but the staff was able to help with everything and took care of all of our knees so we didn’t lack anything. Amazing staff. Overall great experience and I would love to go back and stay again another time.

Our party of six came to surf. The property was as advertised - across the street from the beach and great surfing spots. We loved the courtyard for gathering at night. As a bonus, the house was cleaned every day.

Pulled off an epic surf trip and stayed at this lovely house! Ernie was extremely responsible, and Fernando and Marlene took really good care of us the whole time. I would wholeheartedly recommend this setup for big groups. 5 Stars for sure!

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing time in hacienda iguana and the owner and staff were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the caretakers. The community felt safe, welcoming and warm.

Beautiful Property

The house was perfect for our group, and the daily caretakers were so lovely and helpful. The beach nearby is beautiful and quiet with amazing surf. Note there is a large construction project across the street, but the noise wasn’t overly troublesome.

Great Summer Getaway

Ernie's place was a fantastic place to spend our time in Hacienda Iguana. Location was perfect, house was very clean (and kept clean daily), and Ernie was so helpful with helping us to organize our travel to/from his place. It was our first time in Nicaragua as a family and we will absolutely go back, and stay at Casabella again!

Great spot

We really enjoy this property. We have stayed here a few times now and everything has been excellent. It’s quite unique with its interior courtyard and pool. There’s lots of space for friends to hang out, and lots of space where you can get away and read a book. I really enjoyed it !

Perfect beach hangout

One of the best houses in Iguana and somewhere I'm already thinking about returning to. The pool area is the perfect hangout spot after a long surf session and we even had some monkeys join us in the trees above. The bedrooms were perfect and provided just enough privacy to escape from your friends. The service included was top notch - from check-in with Fernando to the surprise laundry service, everything was smooth and efficient.
