Seascape

We have stayed at Seascape the last two years and consider it our vacation home! It is a beautiful home with very comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen, bikes, scooters to entertain the kids. We were a close walk to the beach and pool. Our grand kids are teens and we felt very secure with them on the property. The beach grill is wonderful and beach service very accommodating. We intend to use it as our vacation rental again and again. Also, loved the sunporch with an ocean view. Patty and Dan Cummings are wonderful!!

Family vacation in Perdido Key

Our family of 6 enjoyed our 4 days in Perdido Key. The Lost Key property was nice and perfect for our needs and comfort. The pools and private beach area were great. Would definitely come back.

Family getaway

We loved the property! It is close enough to walk to the beach. Beautifully decorated. My son and grandson took advantage of riding the bikes to the gym. It’s a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay!

Lovely Property

The townhome was so nice, and Lost Key has great amenities including the Beach Club, large pool, tennis courts, golf, etc. This was our second time to visit Lost Key and we love it! Communication with the property manager was excellent. We would rent this home again.

Wonderful Stay in our Lost Key property in Perdido Key

We enjoyed our stay at the Lost Key property. Loved the location,easy access to the beach, the shuttle to and from the property to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. Very well stocked with everything you need including bikes, beach chairs, beach cart and toys. Easy to book and great communication with the property management. We can’t wait to book this house again soon.

Great Escape!

We enjoyed our stay at Lost Key! This unit was in the perfect location. A short walk to the beach, pool, or fitness center. This unit was clean and had all the amenities of home which makes it easy to pack for a one week vacation. We would love to return to this unit in the future!

Great location with easy access to the beach. This unit is in building closest to the beach. Beach Club bar, restaurant and pool is spectacular. This unit is very well maintained, decorated and stocked. The only thing missing is a blender. Recommend!

10/10! This property was perfect for our family! It was clean & spacious allowing everyone space to relax after a long day at the beach. The decor was exactly what we look for in a coastal vacation rental. The pickleball courts were nice and a fun way to spend time together (we did bring our own paddles and balls). It had bikes, so we didn’t have to worry about extra rental fees. The grill was perfect for a night staying in. The property had so many thoughtful extras such as the “tea drawer”, games, chairs to take to the beach, and boogie boards for renters to use. * This property has two flights of stairs which were not an issue for any of us. The split level allows a little more space and helps noise control if anyone is resting in the bedrooms.Going to the beach was easy with the Lost Key access and the public access both across the street. There is extremely limited parking, so I recommend using the shuttle. Just be prepared to wait 5 about five minutes either way. However we did have a few times family dropped everyone off at the access before parking back at the house and walking to the beach. This is definitely an easy option as well since this property is less than 0.5 miles from access. The area is easy to navigate with a Publix conveniently located about 1.5 miles away. There are cute little food trucks tucked away in several areas near the property. We did all we wanted within a five mile radius. We were even able to walk to get ice cream at night.

Family trip

Nice house with enough parking for two suv. Its 3 stories so there's a flight of stairs from the garage up to the living/ kitchen area and another flight up to the bedrooms. The stairs are the only bad thing about this property.

Lost Key is Amazing!

We loved staying at this townhouse for vacation. Townhouse was very nice, super clean, and nicely furnished with all the essentials we needed. Plenty of space for 6 people. Plus the games were a great addition for family game times. Short walk to the beach so you didn’t have to take the shuttle bus. We would definitely book again next year! The resort is relaxing and quieter than some of these busy condo buildings.

Great Experience

This location was great for the 4 adults and 2 kids that went. Each morning, I dropped the kids and others off at the beach club, then returned the car to the house and walked the short distance back to the beach. It was very easy. We saw the shuttling running constantly, but chose to just use our car instead. The beach club is nice and the beach area itself had plenty of room for us.

Perfect beach getaway for family

New, clean, spacious townhouse. Had all that was needed for a week beach getaway with family. Much enjoyed and appreciated beach chairs and other items for use at the beach. The fine for loss of key cards and bracelets are excessive and would agree with previous review about it making it mildly anxiety producing. Additional parking at the pool/fitness area would be nice and necessary soon as it appears the resort is growing.

Nice condo

This house is very beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. We had plenty of space, supplies for cooking and games to keep us entertained. We also enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. We found that the condo amenities didn’t add much value to our stay. The pools were both too cold to swim in, the hot tub was closed during our stay, our kid’s preferred the beach at the National Seashore (about a mile away) which provided us with less people and more space to roam. The condo is off the beaten path of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores but close enough to give there to enjoy the attractions.

Beautiful townhome, convenient location

The condo was very clean and no maintenance issues. It is only a .5 mi walk to get to the water’s edge so if the shuttle is slow, it’s a quick walk. The only thing missing was a large skillet, but guessing they probably had one that someone ripped off. The beach cart was a tall/deep toy/towel cart. It was not really workable for a cooler or chairs so bring your own wagon. They have a blender, waffle iron and crockpot that were not listed.

Seascape Perdido Key

This was our second time staying in Perdido Key and in this neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice and the pool/gym are nice additions. The shuttle was useful because the entrance is a bit of a walk to the beach, not terrible but if you are taking chairs, beach items or coolers it can be a little challenging so the shuttle helps a lot. The home is nice and had plenty of room for our family (2 adults and 4 children 14-11). The rooms are all upstairs which was fine but the sound travels a lot and at night we could hear everything in the primary bedroom from the kids rooms/2nd bathroom. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to maybe have a bedroom away from kids rooms. The kitchen was nice and has the cooking appliances needed. There aren’t many spices or things like that so had to purchase most of that to cook at the home. There are a couple bikes that were nice and made going to the beach and pool easy for a couple people. There were beach chairs available that helped a lot. You can rent chairs at the beach for about $45/day or maybe a less if you do multiple days but having the chairs at the home allowed us to spend money on other activities. The location is great and not a ton of traffic so we were able to get a good spot on the beach and get to orange beach or gulf shores pretty easily. You are about 15 minutes to the Walmart parking lot where we watched the blue angels practice (the parking lot was recommended by another family we met). There are a couple state parks close by if you wanted a even more private beach experience but charge to enter per vehicle (minimal fee). Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance but not far of a drive to get to more options. The patio is screened and covered which was nice to sit out on in the evenings and early morning coffee. The only thing we really were missing was a decent vacuum or broom to sweep up sand and just general clean up. There are 2 in the unit but 1 didn’t work and the other was kinda cheap and didn’t do the greatest vacuuming the tile or laminate floors. There is only the fridge ice maker which worked for us but if you plan on taking coolers to the pool or beach you will most likely want to grab ice. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we will come back to this area again but there were just some items that would have been nice to have.
