Old school gem

We stayed with my mother-in-law for the weekend to ski. Can’t beat the location. Cozy place, spacious for a few kids and adults. Easy access in and out to ski & hang right in the heart of Vail.

Great location but no fireplace

The property was largely as advertised, with the exception that the fireplace wasn't operational, which was a big part of booking the property in the first place. The apartment was clean, and in a great location about a 5 or 10 minute walk to the ski lift. The decor was unique and my gf really enjoyed it. We also had issues with the check in process; we didn't get the final instructions until late into the day, and not having data on my phone this meant finding a McDs with wifi to stop in at regular intervals to check for messages. It added stress and time to our travel day. The instructions provided mentioned the west building, but when we got there we found the east building, but no west building. The actual name on the building said something else, and eventually a local was nice enough to help us find the apartment.

Great location

Easy walk to lifts and Vail center. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Entertaining interior design in every nook and cranny. Lots and lots of mirrors. Had to email the host mid morning on arrival day to remind him to send me check-in information, which made me a little nervous. Overall, would suggest this as a good place to stay for a trip to Vail.
