We had a great stay at The Highwater Cabin! We had 10 adults and everyone had their own space plus enough common areas for all. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need. We will be back!

This place had everything we needed! We enjoyed the river, hiking, and having a great place for us to hang out with our kids. We were secluded, yet close enough to Jasper for quick trips. We will be coming back to stay here when we return to Jasper!

Great Stay

Stayed here for four nights to explore Horseshoe Canyon Ranch and the Buffalo River area. Nice location near Jasper and lots of fun to explore the river next to the cabin! Already looking forward to our next visit.

Pictures don’t do this place justice!!! It is a gorgeous hidden gem!!!! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Fantastic in every way

We loved the cabin and the property. Can’t wait to book again for summer time so we can enjoy floating the river. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. You won’t regret booking this cabin.

Yearly Float Trip

Our friend group floats the Buffalo River one weekend every year. This is our second time to stay in this cabin. We love it! It’s perfect for our group! We will be booking again!

Great stay in a relaxing space

Our group of 10 adults had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything we needed was provided, including a gas grill with extra propane and a pellet smoker! We spent most of our days outdoors, but our evenings were spent at the cabin cooking large meals. It couldn't have worked out any better!

The location is unbeatable! Far from the crowds, right on the banks of the Little Buffalo, but only 5 minutes from Jasper. The "landing" area on the river right down from the house was a great place to access the water for fishing, wading, etc. The house was well furnished (including the nice snack basket and Jasper the Buffalo, which my 2-year-old granddaughter loved!) and included most everything you'd need for a nice stay. Baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs were appreciated. Lots of chairs on the deck overlooking the river, plus ceiling fans, made it a great hang-out. The only negatives were a few lights that were out and only 1 hair dryer for 3 bathrooms - plus the floors needed a good scrubbing. Overall, a great stay for 6 adults and 1 child.

We love Highwater Cabin, the location can’t be beat. When we entered the cabin we were overwhelmed by a moldy odor throughout the entire cabin. Also got in late because we were not sent the gate code. Finally after calling 800 number and the guidance of a very helpful man we were able to get in . Not the best start to a fun weekend!

Great property right on the Little Buffalo River

We had 6 adults in our group. Number of beds was great. Cool cabin, great deck, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing to be aware of is that the living area is comfortable for about 6. The property sleeps 12 but not everyone could be at the same table or sitting in the living room at the same time.

We came to Arkansas because my husband and I eloped at Sam’s Throne. We booked this house for my family to stay at. It was PERFECT! The creek in the back yard for the kids to play plus the giant yard to allow them to run around for hours on end. Check in was incredibly easy and any time I needed to contact the host, she answered promptly! Every room was clean and ready for us when we got there. I would recommend this house to anyone going to Jasper, AR. And it’s only a few minutes up the road from the main town which is SO CUTE with the sweetest locals and the cutest shops. We had 7 adults and 5 children and it fit us so comfortably. 10/10 recommend and couldn’t be happier with our stay!
