Our stay was great, despite the rain and muddy roads. We had everything we needed, and the ease of checking in, and communication from the host was great. Would definitely stay there again.
Excellent accommodations. Fourth time staying at Steve’s Barn. Never had an issue or problem. Already booked for next year.. Highly recommend staying here if its available.
Steve’s place was perfect for our long weekend walleye fishing trip. It was just as described. We especially loved that there was plenty of safe parking for our truck and boat. Steve was a friendly, knowledgeable host. We’d definitely stay again!
The entire property was clean and had the basics needed for a traveler. Steve was very kind and friendly. We had plenty of parking for our truck and boat. The only negative was poor weather for our fishing trip. We would definitely stay again.
Our stay was amazing! We had a great time. The only downfall was my son got sick and I couldn't wash the bedding because there was nothing to wash it in.
Steve’s place was awesome and our kinda of place. We enjoyed everything about it and its location too. Safe and secure and we will be coming here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The parking space accommodated three trucks with boats. Plenty of space. The place was clean. Definitely will look to see if it is available the next time we are in town
Everything was very nice. And overall inside the house looks very interesting. House is clean and comfortable.

Why they chose this property
I built this Lodge to display various hunting and fishing taxidermy work, and an overall up north lodge feeling, but in metro Detroit. It’s in a very private location backing up to woods. A 1700 acre park nearly boarders my property, and it’s close to everything you want to do.
