Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that,the property wasn’t the right fit for your family’s needs. We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our lake house is situated on a small hillside, which is what provides the beautiful elevated lake view shown throughout our listing photos. The walk from the lake does involve a walking up and down a small hill, but it is not four flights of stairs. We encourage our guests to review the photos and descriptions to ensure the property is a good fit for everyone in their group particular for anyone has mobility concerns or prefers a completely level property. The home also features a spiral staircase that leads only to the lower level basement. All of the homes main living spaces, including the kitchen, bedrooms, full bathroom and deck are located on the main floor, so guest do not need to use a spiral staircase, unless they choose to enjoy the additional lower level space. Regarding sleeping arrangements the home accommodate the number of guest advertised. One bedroom includes a bunkbed with a ceiling fan above it. For safety, we ask guest not to use the ceiling fan while someone is sleeping in the top bunk, and we provide portable floor fan for additional comfort in addition to central air-conditioning. We also want to clarify that we have guests with children under the age of six on a consistent basis. While families are welcome, we do not advertise the house as child proof or stacked with baby equipment, such as high chairs, pack and play, or childrens toys. Those amenities are not included in our listing, and parents are encouraged to determine whether the house is appropriate for their children’s ages and needs. Our lake house has hosted many families, including those with young children, who have had wonderful stays. We encourage all perspective guests to carefully, read the listing photos and description to ensure the properties layout and terrain, meet their needs and abilities of everyone in their group.
