Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.

Perfectly Relaxing

The resort is a wonderful island experience; perfect for an unplugged vacation undisturbed by crowds or busy activity. The beach and resort amenities always combine successfully for relaxation and leisure. This villa is spacious and well-maintained with good furniture, soft beds, and a very nice kitchen.

Family fun

Everything we great except the pools were in,large non usable except the last one with a card access control which we not offered. Plus we told in writing all the pools were open. This will not stop us from returning as it still remain the. Est place on earth. I did speak to management about telling the truth and they were apologizing. I still highly recommend Palm Island Resort.

AC not working 2nd floor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location and the unit was well furnished and what a view!!! The TV remote in the living room was dead and no spare batteries anywhere. We called and reported it asking for service to come look at it and they never showed up. No TV, not a big deal. AC for the upstairs bedrooms ran constantly but never cooled off. We ran the 1st floor AC at 68 degrees with one of the two fans on high the second night to help cool the second floor. the 2nd living-room fan does not turn on. We swapped batteries with the other remote and it still didn't work. We had a great time overall but the unit has a few maintenance items to address.

Excellent location on the south side of the resort away from cart traffic. Beds were 10/10 (expensive upgraded mattresses), condo was stocked with toys and all sorts of stuff for the kids. Amazing unobstructed sunset view from the patio, nice easy walk to the beach. We will be back in this unit.

The only areas that need improvement are small but make a big difference. The pool area needed more chairs and umbrellas. The grills were much smaller the previously. The canopy in the pool area was torn. The villa was great but we needed more trash bags, only two were provided. A better grade of toilet paper would help.

Delightful Getaway

It exceeded all expectations in every way!The decor is classy beach and had everything you could need. This was a mini-family reunion and a BIG # birthday celebration for me. We felt lucky to call it home, if only for 4 nights. Before arriving I called to check on how many cars we could take on ferry and just mentioned we were going for my birthday and management had a bottle of wine and gift basket waiting in the room. All of the staff were friendly and helpful (even when I lost golf cart keys)!We first went to Palm Island around 1986 and have gone on and off but hope to go more often and stay at this villa.

The building sits very close to the water, so it's a shorter walk to the beach than most. Made it feel like you were sitting almost on top of the water which was amazing. We could see manatees swimming down the gulf from our balcony. Loved the large outdoor dining table for family breakfasts and dinners with a breeze. The kitchen is better stocked than most units. The only issue was there wasn't much room for food in the cabinets because they were full with dishes. Minor detail. The upstairs had a murphy bed and 3 twins which was nice, but we couldn't find sheets for the murphy bed. Overall, we were very happy with the unit. Beautiful sunsets & beach views from the upstairs deck which had a great hightop table for 4. A perfect place for an evening toast. Some really nice touches in this unit.

Sharing our Experience - our 4th 10 day stay

Reviewer Comments: This place is my husband's absolutely favorite place to visit on a beach. So I contacted the property after being unable to book the location I wanted online. The staff was helpful! They openly communicated about the status of the condos and offered a better location, which we eventually booked. Although we don't need the extra space we cannot resist the top floor balcony units. A few points I'd like to share. 1. I liked the new app, but I was on vacation and did not look at the phone, so there were some communications that I didn't see. For example, we checked out at 7:45 a.m. and the office doesn't open until 8, so I had to walk to the 'valet' to get a lift. I guess that is my fault for not calling the day before. Not a big thing, but wanted to alert others. 2. Every year, I lament the RECYCLING EFFORTS on the island. This year, at least, they indicated that I could bring my recycling to the back of the check in/front desk. I had more recycling than garbage (remember you have to haul your own food in.) For a gorgeous place, concerned with nature/sea turtles/manatees, it is inconsistent to have guests look at recycling as an afterthought. For reference, I make this comment every visit. 3. On a plus, Tim the maintenance fellow was quick, and talented when it came to correcting some maintenance issues. 4. I think they did a good post covid job of having staff, (not easy in these times). 4. It would be nice to have this item handy - a maintenance pad ( I worked in hotels for decades) to list out the small issues early on so they don't become big ones, and people forget when they want to check out. ie - fridge door pops open, light bulb burnt out in microwave, bug sighting in bedrooms, etc) FINALLY, This place is lovely, and I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Very quiet and laid back. Thank you.
