The listing was everything we could have wanted. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in. It was quiet yet close to all the places we wished to see. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings. I certainly would stay in again.

This was our first rental situation, and it was better then i expected, it had everything you need to cook. And things for pets, we didnt bring any of our pets but it was really nice to see the stuff for the pets, it has some games and things, it was very nice to just get off grid and have real family time, and its close to the stores, but also very secluded! We absolutely love it!

We enjoyed everything about this place. It snowed pretty heavily— someone showed up, cleared the driveway and shoveled the stairs and deck! It was a cozy place with a lovely view.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was cozy and modern. We loved the hot tub and the quiet neighborhood with the river view. Close to shops and restaurants.

Lovely mountain getaway!

Overall the place was pretty great! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, and coming in to get cozy next to the heater was lovely. Only complaint is that the kitchen is woefully under-equipped and small (not even a can opener!)

This was a decent stay for the price, but just bear in mind that this cabin could really use some updates. The master bedroom mattress should have been changed out years ago. And do not plan on using the pull-out sofa chair in the loft unless you have a small, carefree child that is going to be the one using it... it's tiny.The heat was not working on our first night. It was 59 in the cabin and I had it set at 66. Things happen and I don't hold that against anyone, but the first recommendation from our host was to "turn it up above 70 because I think it needs to be a little higher to really kick on." My opinion is that if that is indeed the case, the thermostat and/or furnace should have been replaced previously. They did have someone come repair it the next day, but I did not receive any further communication regarding that issue or letting us know that it was done, nor an offer of compensation for spending a night without heat.Again, I'm not really trying to complain and we had a fun stay. I'm just pointing out that while it was a decent value for the price, you will get what you pay for.

Amazing getaway in an amazing location!

Wonderful stay in the heart of West Virginia. The sound of the nearby river is the perfect lullaby for this secluded and cozy house in the forest. The place was clean and modern, the hot tub was amazing and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. Great host, always responsive. We'll definitely come back!

Relaxing Time

We had a wonderful time staying here. The hottub was extremely relaxing and very convenient the way it was built into deck. The place was very clean and quiet. The yard is limited if you have a furbaby with you, but it is next to a relatively low traffic road you can walk your dog. There are a # of steps to get into cabin but it made for good exercise for the week! Excellent hosts.

Comfortable & Quiet

We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!
