The scenic property was nice. House was mostly clean. All bedding was very worn/pilled and had pet hair. living room furniture was not very comfortable. Also definitely heard air plane traffic from nearby airport
A beautiful home with a country feel without leaving the city. House very clean, nicely stocked and the owner was amazing no matter how many times I wanted to extend. 5 stars well deserved!

Emmar Blue stay
This property is adequate - but not entirely comfortable. The major issue is the bedding:The sheets are microfiber sheets that are very pilled. They look dirty. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The queen bed had a (cheap) piece of foam rubber on top of the mattress - and then there was a torn plastic mattress protector on top of that. In addition to being uncomfortable, the protector was very LOUD. Any movement made so much noise that sleeping was difficult. After an uncomfortable first night on the queen bed, we decided to try the beds in the other bedroom. While the mattresses were better, the problem with the loud (and ill-fitting) sheet protectors was still there, as were the pilled microfiber sheets Additional concerns included the fact that the entry code provided in the check-in instructions was not activated when we arrived, so we had to contact the owner in order to access the space. The driveway is VERY difficult to see at night. A driveway reflector or a small flag would make finding your way in easier. There was no soap provided in the showers. One bedside lamp was inoperable.Only one tv remote (in the living room) had working batteries. I found some batteries after scrounging in a drawer, but we could never get the remotes in the bedrooms to actually communicate with the televisions. While it was obvious the owner was trying to address the mustiness of the space - there were moisture control bags everywhere - the space was still musty smelling.
The home is in great shape and on a lot that includes a fishing lake. While I am not much of a fisher, my son did enjoy having the land to run around on and throwing rocks in the lake. I will say that we have had a few encounters with the animals in the area, but nothing extreme that we could not handle. Mostly just really big birds and occasionally a deer or two but it was to be expected because of the area.
There are older trees on the land, so occasionally we would hear a branch fall on top of the house due to birds.
The host was amazing and responded in such a timely fashion. They even sent nice little gifts around holidays and my birthday, which I appreciated.
My main issues have been with the app VRBO itself. I extended my stay a couple of times and the app is not even remotely user friendly and super glitchy. There was always a problem. I was able to work with the host, but VRBO needs a new interface or IT team or something. It’s ridiculous.
In any event, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. It served it purpose for me and my family and I am grateful to have had it.
