The house itself is wonderful. It is a half hour from almost any where. The hill down and up to the lake/dock is a very long walk for an out of shape person like myself.

There was every utensil you would need in the kitchen, as well as towels, paper type products, etc. There were notes pertaining to what-was-in-what cabinet. Totally comfortable house and wonderful view.

Nice clean house, well decorated and nicely equipped kitchen. Only complaint was about the comfort of the twin beds, they were very hard and uncomfortable. Overall our stay here was lovely!

Exceptional property! I have done VRBO's for over 20 years and this was #1-2. Clean, beautiful decor, everything you need. We saw deer, eagle, blue heron, etc. Even with rain we were able to get out on the deck in between. I grew up on these roads and it is a bit challenging at the end, but worth it! This is where you go to truly relax and get away. And we did have cell service the entire time.

Tranquil stay at Killian's View

We loved our stay at Killian's View overlooking Watts Bar Lake. We didn't get to spend much time at the property due to the nature of our visit (funeral/celebration and associated activities), but we would definitely consider staying there again if we return to the area.

My husband and I are semi retired. We love traveling and seeing our grandchildren. Over the years we have enjoyed staying in various properties traveling both abroad and in the US. We had always dreamed of having a property on the water so in 2020 our journey with Killian's View began. After a 9 month renovation, we opened for short term rental. We love accommodating people from all over the world in our peaceful corner of Tennessee. And when we aren't hosting guests we enjoy staying at Killian's View ourselves. This way we can make sure our home is perfect for our guests.

Why they chose this property

We were drawn to this property for its incredible view. It sits above Watts Bar Lake on the main channel. While we do experience various water levels throughout the year it never obstructs our beautiful view. The home needed a complete remodel which we did mostly ourselves. We put in many of the touches and attention to details that we appreciated in other properties we visited. Our home is perfect for a couples getaway, personal retreats, a home base or spending time with your family and friends. Our huge deck has a picnic table, comfy furniture and a propane grill or cook in our fully stocked kitchen with beautiful views. When the water levels are high, generally March through November, you can fish, swim or boat off our lovely dock.

What makes this property unique

At Killian's View you will enjoy being close to nature. There are many deer on our peninsula and if you are lucky you may see one of the eagles flying around close to the deck. Yet, we are less than an hour away from many attractions dining and shopping.
