Caribbean Breeze is a spacious two bedroom, two bath, beachfront St. Croix condo rental located in the exclusive, gated community of Gentle Winds. Gentle Winds is a premier oceanfront condominium resort on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Caribbean Breeze is ideally located in the only beachfront building in this beautiful condo resort. Gentle Winds is a spectacular 60 acre, tropically landscaped estate. The grounds are professionally maintained...and it shows! This exclusive Caribbean condo resort includes a large, palm bordered fresh water pool, two well maintained tennis courts, a basketball court, clubhouse / game room and a poolside Tiki Bar & Grill serving all your favorite tropical drinks, along with a great menu of delicious food!

Caribbean Breeze is located on a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water perfect swimming and snorkeling.

Relax on a beach chair or lounge in a hammock under the shade of a palm tree or a palm covered Palapas or just bask in the warm Caribbean sun! When you have had your fill of the beach step right from the beautiful white sand to the inviting pool. Be sure to have a cool tropical drink from the Tiki bar located poolside. How about a game of Ping Pong or shuffleboard at the pool side clubhouse!

Caribbean Breeze has 2 large bedrooms (plus a queen sleeper sofa) and 2 full bathrooms. The condo will sleep up to 6 people. Our condo is located in the most desirable building in this lush and tropical Condominium Resort.

Our unit is beachfront, with an amazing view of the turquoise water, large pool area, beach hut bar and grill, swaying palms and more! Enjoy spectacular sunsets right from our condo.

The complex has only 9 buildings, dotted throughout the 60 acres, with each building no more than 3 floors high - no building is taller than a coconut palm! Nearby is great SCUBA diving, snorkeling, kayaking, a marina, restaurants and other exciting things to see and do! Caribbean Breeze is secluded, yet it is only an 8 minute drive to beautiful Cane Bay and is only 15-20 minutes from historic downtown Christiansted.

For larger groups, consider reserving both Caribbean Breeze and our nearby villa, Villa Dawn!

Peaceful retreat

This property was perfect for our week in St Croix. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave detailed information regarding the property and the island. The location is perfect for a relaxing vacation… a lovely view of the pool and beach, great space to relax and rest, and easy drive to stores and restaurants . We look forward to returning for another vacation.

What a spot!

Great view, great property, great location! Went on a double mother daughter trip and stayed here. It had all we needed and more. The tiki hut was nice for drinks and food for lunch, and the beach was almost empty!! There is some decent snorkeling right out from the swim beach too. We will be back!

We absolutely love Gentle Winds. Caribbean Breeze is a great unit in one of the best buildings and closest to the water. The king size bed was very comfortable. The balcony was extremely enjoyable in the mornings and evenings. It was everything we hoped for!

A wonderful return to home for a fabulous birthday with five generations of women in my family.My host Kevin provided us with a lovely, clean, condo with gorgeous veiws to relax in during our down time.He was very kind, responsive and accommodating. The interior warm, spacious and inviting.The kitchen was stocked so well...My daughter proceeded to dazzle us with her culinary expertise.We devoured her creations watching views of the sunset's beautiful colors leaving the sky over the shush of the ocean waves.What else could you ask for!My 5 year old granddaughter turned into a little mermaid before my eyes swimming in the beautiful clear blue pool and very close beach daily meeting other little friends along the way.Downtown and grocery stores were not far.Thank you for an amazing place to stay onmy trip back home to My Awesome Island !!!The interior was spacious and inviting.

Great St Croix Condo

Probably one of the best condos on the island. Great location. Fabulous pool. Awesome amenities including corn hole by the pool. It’s just around the corner from all the kayaking. St Croix has recovered well from the hurricane. Stores all open. Restaurants on board walk and Cane beach were great. We snorkeled everywhere with the Fred pier being our favorite. Despite two power cuts due to storms, we really really enjoyed our stay ! Thanks.

Beautiful view

Our unit was closest to the beach and pool and there were more palapa and chairs than guests! The pool water was too cold to swim so we never saw more than 2 people try it. On most days the sea was better. The unit itself is quite dated but the beds are very comfortable.

One of the best views on St Croix

Of the multiple places we have stayed, this was one of the best views ever. Beach, Pool and Palm trees, what more could you ask for. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of kitchen ware. It was very comfortably furnished. It was even equipped with laundry, dish detergent and plenty of spices in the kitchen. We loved the condo and would like to stay there again in the future. If we could make any changes, we would have liked to been able to grill out on our gallery. (however there is a gas grill available at the pool) and it would also been nice to have a ceiling fan on the gallery too. Location was central to everything on the island. Our biggest issue was that there is no cell phone service in that part of the island and our I phones would not make phone calls using the wifi available at the unit. (Android phones and other models would work fine on the wifi calling and there is a land line if you needed to make a call). We had a small problem with the clothes dryer and sent an email to Kent earlier one morning, we went to the beach and when we returned about 1pm the dryer had already been repaired. Great Service!

Great location! Definitely stay here!

The condo was great! The complex was excellent! This is better than the few high priced resorts we saw. It has a great view, great pool, and tiki bar. The private beach is a very nice plus! Everything was here we wanted on a island vaction. This was the first time we visited St Croix and we lucked out finding this place. We traveled around the island and I feel this was the best place to stay. St Croix feels safe, never felt unsafe anywhere except Frederiksted but still safe at the pier and snorkeling. Mondays are cruise ship day, street vendors are out. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Great place to stay has everything you need, snack shack/bar, pool and beach. Location is great, scuba diving company right down the road. Quiet area but still close to everything. Condo’s kitchen was stocked well, beds comfortable and perfect view sitting on patio.

Wonderful Stay @ Caribbean Breeze

If you’re wondering whether you should book your stay at Caribbean Breeze, this is your sign! We stayed one week at this wonderful condo. The views are phenomenal, the condo is well-appointed, and the beds are comfy! Parking is easy and driving to and from the condo is no problem at all! Caribbean Breeze is priced well and you have the benefit of a beach with chairs and umbrellas, a pool, and a snack shack/bar! No brainer!

Lovely Resort-like Feel and Friendly People

We loved the views from our balcony. We had one minor glitch which was fixed by the time we got back from dinner that first night. I can't do many stairs but our unit although on the second floor was only six steps up from the parking lot. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and having pool floats and a cooler was a nice touch. The pool was great - everyone talks to you in there and they are all so helpful. Having palapas with lounge chairs on the beach and the grille for lunch and drinks really added to the resort feel. We usually went into town for dinner and had some really good food (Savant, Too Chez, Shupes on the Boardwalk). We cant wait to go back.

Amazing condo and Location

This was a last minute plan for us because of another place not being available. We couldn't be more happier. Huge thank you to the owners, they were amazing!! This condo has everything you might need. 20 second walk to the beach and a beautiful view of the beach and water right from your balcony. We usually stayed on the other side of the island but this quickly became our favorite place. Thank you again!!

Underwhelmed

The condo is in a convenient location and a beautiful beach and pool are just steps away. From the main bedroom and living room you can here the sound of the waves and the view from the screened in porch are very nice. The bed in the main room is quite comfortable and ceiling fans and central air conditioning kept us cool throughout our stay. The condo is in need of updates especially in bathrooms and furnishings There are popcorn ceilings and walls throughout making it look quite dated. Also maintenance needed around windows, baseboards and the screens on the balcony. There was also some cleanliness concerns that I discussed on my first day with the host who assured me the cleaning person had been there prior to our stay. The standard of cleanliness was not what we expected after reading many 5 star reviews prior to renting the unit. Gentle Winds is a well maintained , safe and quiet condominium complex but it is not gated as the description states. Only one key is given out to guest after retrieving it from a lock box. Upgrading to a digital smart lock or keyless entry would be a suggestion.

Great place to stay!

This condo is at one of the best condo complexes in St Croix; Gentle Winds! This particular unit is close to the beach and pool and is very comfortable for 2 couples complete with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The view from the screened in porch is breathtaking! The beach is glorious and we spent a lot of time in the water sipping rum punches made at the Beach Shack This beach shack is a major plus since they serve lunch and drinks!

Paradise!

Our family of 5 (adult children ages 22, 19, and 17) couldn’t have been more pleased with our week at Gentle Winds. The condo was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The location was amazing! Just steps to the beautiful beach. The hosts were great at responding to questions, providing helpful details prior to the trip, and making it easy to check-in/check-out. We’re already dreaming of our return. Thank you for a delightful stay in your beautiful condo!

Hit all the Marks

Caribbean Breeze had all the features we were looking for. Pool, bar / grill and beach all within a few steps of the condo. The condo was in good shape and well maintained. Appreciated the in-house pool floats and beach towels. We’ll stocked kitchen and working washer and dryer. Enjoyed our stay and will look forward to booking again.

We love to swim, snorkel, SCUBA dive (St. Croix has some of the best diving anywhere), sail, eat, drink, shop, eat and drink some more...St. Croix has it all!

Why they chose this property

We visited St. Croix for the first time in 1998. We had already been to many of the Caribbean Islands, as well as many other tropical destinations, so we thought we would give St. Croix a try. Just a few years later we found, and purchased, Caribbean Breeze!
