Nice location

This was about 25ish minutes from Traverse City. The little town this place is located has a nice vibe and quiet. The building is right on the water with beautiful views of the lake.

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our short stay at Fife Lake. Unfortunately it was raining while there so we didn't get to enjoy the lake, but the view out our window was wonderful.

This property offers a peaceful stay right on Fife Lake. My family appreciated the items for kids to play with at the beach, the nice firepits near the water and being able to rent kayaks for a good price right at the property. We saw fish, crayfish, a turtle and a bald eagle. It is across the street from a nice restaurant and ice cream shop and there is a convenient store attached to the property. The room had all the amenities we needed.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! It’s fantastic to hear that your family enjoyed the lakefront activities, from playing on the beach to paddling the kayaks, and even spotting wildlife along the way. We’re glad the location worked so well with the restaurant, ice cream shop, and store just across the street. You’re always welcome back for another peaceful and fun stay!

The manager was extremely accomodating. Answered quickly. Moved kyle downstairs and to front. Easy for him to get in and out

Good place too stay

Overall good experience. Couple minor things that should be addressed. Advertised as having cable. No cable, only streaming. Sink in bathroom is clogged. Water in shower completely stopped twice. If not for these items, I would rate 5 stars.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We have just updated our listings to indicate streaming only, we apologize if that was not updated upon your booking. If you have any pictures of the clogged sink, we would appreciate them so we can share with the team. Always looking for ways to improve the guest experience!

Slightly misleading

When we entered the room the decor was MANCAVE themed. There was a bright pink light constantly on in the upper corner near the ceiling which we had to cover with a t-shirt as it made it hard to fall asleep. The shower needing to be run for 5 minutes to get hot water also a bit disappointing. All in all it was a great trip, just expected something different as far as accommodations based on the photos.

Need on sight host, could not get into room with code. Fitted sheet was put on incorrect, had to take whole bed apart and fix it correctly..2 guests stay four nights only two packages of coffee. Bedside table very small for 2 guests..Toilet seat faulty, almost fell to floor..Should not have to stand up to wipe oneself.. Would like to check on lower level rooms for future stay, but no one available for that request..

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay. I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced — especially the trouble accessing the room, the bed setup issue, and the faulty toilet seat. That’s not the level of comfort or service we aim to provide. We’ll have our maintenance and housekeeping teams address the toilet seat and bedding concerns right away to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’ll also review the coffee and room setup to make sure future guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Regarding your interest in a lower-level room for future visits, I’d be happy to help arrange that. Please let me know your preferred dates, and I’ll check availability for you. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention — your feedback helps us improve. We hope to welcome you back and provide a much better experience next time.
