The Space
* Bedrooms: One bedroom features a full-size bed, and the second bedroom has a full-over-twin bunk bed. Both rooms include dressers, luggage stands, and hangers for convenient storage.
* Living Area: Relax in the living room with comfortable seating and a sleeper sofa for extra guests.
* Kitchen: Fully stocked for cooking, featuring drinkable well water (filtered water recommended for drinking and cooking). Basic cooking essentials are provided; except food products.
*Front Porch: Take in lake views from the wicker patio set, use the table that doubles as a workspace, or relax on the daybed with a trundle for extra guests.
* Bathroom: Compact but functional, with a shower, sink, and flush toilet.
* Extras: Washer and dryer, Pack ’n Play available upon request.

Enjoy full access to the front and back yards, gazebo, fire pit, dock, and private beach area. The property includes a canoe, two kayaks, a paddle boat, and adult-sized life jackets for exploring the lake. Firewood is provided for evening campfires. The hosts, Michelle and Stephanie, are originally from Old Town and are proud alumni of the University of Maine (Go Blue!). We spent much of their childhood summers at the camp next door to Lozier’s Lookout. When the opportunity arose to purchase the neighboring camp, it was truly a dream come true.

We are beyond excited to share this special property with our guests. Providing a place where families can unplug, reconnect, and create memories like those from our own childhoods is what makes this experience so meaningful to us.

Why they chose this property

The Katahdin region has long been a hidden gem and is finally receiving the recognition it deserves. With its lakes, the Penobscot River, mountains, and vast wilderness, the area offers endless recreational opportunities—enough to keep you active for weeks.

Lozier’s Lookout sits on the shores of Millinocket Lake, less than 10 miles from Baxter State Park and close to the region’s many hiking and biking trails. The local dining scene has grown significantly and now includes Knife’s Edge Brewing, River Drivers, Fredericka’s, Loose Moose Bar and Grille, the Golden Road Yacht Club, and Golden Road Crossing—all within five minutes of the cottage.

We were fortunate to grow up exploring the wonders of this part of Maine and are thrilled to share it with others.
