Neither Tim or I are originally from Maine. (Tim from Wisconsin, Gina from Upstate New York) We both love the outdoors and fell in love with the Maine way of life.
Why they chose this property
This beautiful custom built yurt is on the banks of the Penobscot river along the Grindstone Scenic Byway. Close to Baxter State Park and majestic Mount Katahdin as well as Katahdin Woods and Waters National Park. Two miles to Penobscot River Trails with miles of groomed cross country skiing and mountain biking. 4 seasons of hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, skiing, and miles and miles of snowmobiling!

What makes this property unique
30' foot custom build yurt sits on over an acre of private land with 200 feet of riverfront. Stunning views of the river from the large wrap around deck. 2 bedrooms and a loft provide sleeping for 8. Full kitchen and dining area, full bath with a washer and dryer. It is all here for you to enjoy!
