Staying in this yurt was such a fun experience. It was so clean, the host, Gina, was extremely responsive, and the interior design layout was perfect. The yurt sits close to the road along the Penobscot River with a short beautiful trail right down to the river. And the area along the river is so peaceful. All the appliances and bathroom facilities work well, and the tap water tastes sooo good! The sofa was a little uncomfortable as it is actually a futon, but besides that…perfect. We drove a little more than an hour each day to take in hikes at Baxter State Park. We couldn’t have been happier. Thanks for a great stay Gina.

We had a wonderful time on our weekend trip to Medway. The yurt exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The check in, check out procedures were clear and easy to follow! The host was always available to answer any of our questions. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. 😊
This is the nicest yurt! It has everything you could possibly need. Gina is super communicative. Its a beautiful location. Its a bit strange that the listing nor any reviewers mention its just a few feet from A major road that is a 50mph road which is pretty loud. The passing traffic is likely higher in the summer because it's so beautiful in the whole area. The cars and trucks were loud enough to wake us and interruot the peaceful setting. We are Country folk though so it might not bother anyone else :) different strokes for different folks
The Yurt was an incredible spot to host a girls getaway trip. We all agreed that the space exceeded expectations with comfortable bedding, nicely stocked kitchen, beautiful deck and view of the river. It was so relaxing. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Honestly didn't know what to expect from a Yurt. This property is in a beautiful location right next to the river. It is all new, extremely clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in this area.
My husband and I and our two teens stayed here while we hiked in Baxter. We loved everything about this place. It was very well stocked and so cleverly laid out. We adored the deck and the river view. It's so helpful to have spices and condiments available, as one can never bring everything. The tap water was delicious, so must be well water.

Thank you for your review. (yes, well water;)
Thank you for staying with us. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay.
As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely stay here again.
My husband, son (11) and myself stayed at this lovely yurt for 3 nights. We were wowed just upon walking in. The amenities are lovely, state of the art appliances, luxuries in the wilderness really. When we arrived it was so hot and having the a/c unit in the yurt was so amazing! We hosted old friends who were able to come over and enjoy the beauty of the location and the coolness of the a/c! The beds were so comfortable, and the arrangement of furniture was perfect for having 6 people more than comfortably talking and carrying on conversations without feeling crowded. We very much look forward to coming back, hopefully in the winter next time, when we can take advantage of the cross country skiing. We loved our stay and we know others will too. A treasure for sure!
