Captain’s Lookout is a Lakefront, 6 Bedroom Suites Home with 6 full and (3) 1/2 baths with INDOOR, HEATED JETTED POOL. Over 5,000 SF. Contact for availability if not listed for the following season. GREAT FOR SMALL CORPORATE EVENTS OR RETREATS WITH WRITTEN OWNER APPROVAL.
There are 4 King Bed Suites & 2 Family Suites. The Family Suites have (2) Queen Beds & (3-4) Single Beds. Nautical themed Family Suite is on the Loft Level.
Large dock that can moor up to 2 boats, 1 slip is covered. Rental pontoon boat available under separate agreement and fee. The Guest email address, cell phone & valid Gov’t id is req.
This property has high speed internet. Multiple dedicated office areas. Multiple heating/cooling systems.
There are (3) full size refrigerators, one in the high end kitchen, butler’s pantry and the Rec Rm, along with an undercounter ice maker. A large gourmet kitchen & dining for 16. Oct.-April maximum number of guests is 12 without owner written approval.
Indoor, heated pool with jets overlooking the lake. We have a Rec Rm with (2) TV’s for BYOD, Bring Your Own Device, gaming or watching sports. A path and steps to the large private dock. Spacious gathering spaces and several cozy private spaces for time away to get some R&R.
The owners have a place on property and may need to access the dock occasionally. The owner has separate parking. Access in and around the Owner’s property is off limits and grounds for termination of stay without refund. Exterior camera and security cameras are located in the Owner’s Locked Storage that are not for Guest’s use.
The Kitchen & Pantry include: (2) full-size refrigerators, (2) dishwashers, 36” gas Monogram cooktop w/griddle, GE Profile double ovens, microwave, (2) pantry cabinets, pots, pans & cooking utensils. The Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, wine glasses, etc.
The Great Rm has 70" smart TV. All the King Suites have 55" smart TVs. Rec Rm/Gaming Area includes: (2) 55 inch smart TVs for a bring your own device gaming. The Kitchenette in the Rec Area has a 3rd full size refrigerator, sink, microwave & coffee bar.
The Bedroom Suites have access to shared outdoor spaces, except for the Family Loft Suite. The Lower Level King Suite 4 includes an attached Family Room.
Office areas are available in King Suite 1, Sunrooms outside King Suite 2 & King Suite 4 and the Family Loft Suite. Starlink high speed internet is available.
Outdoor areas include: Large dock, (2) 24'x20' decks, 10'x24' stamped patio, 8'x18' porch with porch swing, smokeless fire pit deck, patio at the end of the concrete cart path. There are also (2) 30' long 3-season Sunrooms to enjoy quiet time overlooking Norris Lake and Chuck Swan Nature Preserve. An outdoor kitchen is located on the upper deck.
There are 2 laundry areas.
The indoor, heated, jetted pool overlooks Norris Lake and Chuck Swan Nature Preserve to relax & enjoy the lake from a different perspective or alternate for weather events that prevent you from being on the lake. The door to the pool has a lock and accessed with a touch pad lock. Although it is the guest responsibility and liability to ensure the door is closed and locked. No diving, it is 4’ deep in the center and a seating ledge around the entire pool. No lifeguard is on duty, swim at your own risk. No running or horse play in the pool or pool room.
Captain’s Lookout home is about 1/2 mile from Anderson County Park with a free boat launch, lake beach, walking trails and playground.
You can see Stardust Marina from the dock and seasonally from the house.
It’s about 15-20 minutes off 75, Walmart and lots of dining and shopping options.
The home is conveniently located approximately 15-20 minutes from I-75 exit 122 by vehicle. Groceries, shopping, restaurants and fuel are available at Clinton exit 122. Knoxville is approximately 30 minutes drive. Pigeon Forge is about 60-75 minutes drive. Southern Ohio & Northern KY is approximately 3.25-4 hours away. 🧹🧹 Cleanliness, Trash, and Maintenance • Guests are required to take out trash at least twice per week to the designated outdoor bins to prevent odors, pests, or overflow. • Guests are responsible for basic upkeep during their stay, including managing cleanliness and proper disposal of trash and food waste. • To protect the property and future guests, guests must not bring in any infested personal items, including luggage or furniture previously exposed to pests. • If you notice signs of pests, report it to the host immediately. Had a wonderful stay here at the lake. 3 generations, 5 families and there was plenty of space to gather, as well as to "Get a little space" when you wanted it. Perfect house for getting everyone together at the lake for a week to make some memories!
We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous home that had plenty of room for our large party. Owners were also very helpful with whatever we needed. We loved our stay here!

The trip was for the family to get together and go to Windrock to have Jeep adventures. This house is beautiful and spacious. From the outdoor decks , to the view of the lake,, the fire-pit, an indoor pool, was more than we could imagine. This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in and made so many beautiful memories. The hosts are wonderful too, they are easy to talk with and made are stay great!
We had a great long weekend during Fall Break. The house was completely redone and very spacious. The owners thought of everything we might need - fully stocked kitchen, multiple refrigerators, fire pit with wood. Perfect for multiple families and a relaxing weekend. The owners were also very responsive and helpful with ideas about things to do around the area. Highly recommend.
We had 13 of our family stay over spring break. We rented the pontoon boat and spent a few days in Windrock. This home was perfect: everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The kitchen was large enough to make meals each night. The view was amazing and the home clean with a lot of space.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home. The home was immaculate, and anything that you might need was at your finger tips. Our host was in contact with us to make sure everything was in order after check-in. The only disappointment was we didn’t have more time to spend there. Looking forward to go back.
This home was beautiful and comfortable for our family vacation. Heather and David, property owners, thought of everything for their guests’ pleasure when building this home! The indoor pool attracted us to this property and it served us well. It is easily accessible from I 75, so driving in from Ohio was easy. We rented the boat and water toys on location - so convenient for lots of lake fun! Chef David and Heather provided us with a fantastic meal and a fun dining experience. What a perfect option to offer! We are planning to return here for another family vacation or a friends‘ vacation experience!
Very nice! Might I suggest a boat key holder next to the inside of door going to the steps. Also a golf car rental for going down to the dock. No one including the teens liked the steps. exhausting! Other than that we had a wonderful time! thanks again Paulette Davis and family

I am glad you and your family had a wonderful first visit to Norris Lake, Tn. Norris Lake is located in the mountains of Eastern Tn. Thank you for your suggestions.
We just purchased a golf cart. We are working on licensing and insurance for guest rental. In the meantime, prior to your stay, we provided contact information for a golf cart rental company on the lake. We have only had one guest rent a golf cart in the past several years.
There is a key holder located by the front door at the top of the stairs, near the Mudd Room.
I’m sorry we did not live up to all our 5 star ratings we have received to date.
I love creating fun and relaxing spaces for guests to enjoy.

The amazing Norris Lake views from nearly every room in the house, make this a great place to getaway and enjoy living in nature. The indoor heated and jetted pool overlooking Norris Lake is a great place to spend time even if the weather is not perfect.
There are 4 decks, patio, 2 sunrooms, and a large fir pit deck to enjoy the views of Chuck Schwan Nature Preserve. It is truly a unique property.
