About this property
Oceanfront + Dogs + Hot Tub = Idyllic Beach House!
Neptune's Hideaway is a true coastal gem! Floor-to-ceiling windows frame breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, and vintage design evokes the warmth of a classic beach house. With inviting spaces and a relaxed atmosphere, this home is perfect for easygoing gatherings with family and friends. Every outdoor corner invites you to soak in the spectacular views. And the best part? You're just minutes from golf, a resort spa, and fantastic dining. Bring kids, bring dogs, bring friends—it's time to relax!
The space:
Dreaming of a tranquil getaway in a beachfront house to call home, days spent roaming the Coast, and evenings drifting to sleep to the sound of the ocean? Tucked into a quiet street in the sought-after Gleneden Beach neighborhood, Neptune’s Hideaway is a few moments walk away from miles of uncrowded sandy beach, a hidden gem of the Oregon Coast. Close to Salishan Resort (with its 18-hole championship golf course and spa), we are just 12 minutes south of Lincoln City (shopping and dining), and near extraordinary opportunities for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and more.
The single level home has no stairs, and the living/dining area is very spacious: vaulted ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the ocean, with comfortable furniture designed for relaxing. A gas fireplace is wonderful on crisp mornings and evenings! The galley-style kitchen is well-stocked for cooking at home, with all the amenities our gourmet guests have requested; additionally, there is a gas grill outdoors. (We also provide an extensive collection of menus, local attractions, fishing brochures when you want to venture out.) The bonus room houses the television and a sleeper sofa, perfect for slumber parties and game nights, and the ping pong table creates competitive camaraderie with all generations.
Three bedrooms reside down the hallway, each with its own nautical-inspired decor: one king bed room, one double bed room, and two twin beds in what we call the Flag Room.
The full bath offers a shower/tub combination as well as an extended vanity area with cabinets and plenty of counter space. The new half bath is located off the bonus room.
The amazing outdoor space feels like an additional living area, with the hot tub, deck, fire pit and alfresco dining table enjoying unsurpassed ocean views — and miles of uncrowded beach just a few moments walk away.
Designed to be family-friendly, and embracing old school vacation vibes, guests enjoy our game closet filled with over 30 board games and puzzles, books, a ping pong table, and beach toys for the beautiful stretch of sand we call our backyard. We have a TV ready to play our collection of DVDs (or your chosen streaming service), and high speed WiFi for work or play.
And because we love our pups, pet friendly supplies include food & water bowls, treats, and doggie pick up bags.
The best memories are often forged from the simplest of things: the smell of ocean air, the laughter of family & friends gathered around a table, the beauty of breathtaking water views. All these converge at this idyllic beachfront home, designed for guests to slow down and appreciate the wonder of the Oregon Coast.
Other things to note:
Maximum 2 dogs UNLESS approved by host.
Infants and children under 2 years of age included in 8 person max capacity. This is a county rule and no exceptions can be made due to zoning.
