Come visit this hidden jewel along the Siletz Bay.

“Ebb and Flow” is located on Siletz Bay where ocean and river mingle creating a dynamic and diverse, environment. Twice each day, Siletz Bay’s estuary is the stage for a slow, stately drama influenced by the moon, the sun, the wind, and the rain. Flowing channels, branching and winding across the broad sandflats, are filled with incoming ocean waters. As the bay fills, the rising tide spreads slowly across the Siletz Bay. The ever-deepening waters lift the eelgrass, fill the countless burrows, and creep into tiny channels that penetrate the salt marshes. Finally, the waters surge upstream to the edge of the forest and gently lift trailing branches of rhododendron and cedar. The Siletz Bay estuary is full.

For a moment, the drama pauses. Then as the earth turns, the ocean’s push becomes a pull, and the waters of the Siletz Bay estuary recede. Before long, logs at the edge of the salt marsh are grounded on the sand, the eelgrass lies limp and flat, and tiny creatures are stranded in isolated pools of water warming in the sun. Red tailed hawks, bald eagles, and other raptors are seen roosting and a variety of estuarine dependent birds including great blue heron, great egret and many species of waterfowl are foraging in the tidally influenced waters. But in a short time, the cycle will begin again….

Ebb and Flow is conveniently located in Lincoln City on the Siletz Bay within easy reach of two golf courses, bay front seafood restaurants such as Mo’s, Pelican Brew Pup, Kyllo’s, and the many restaurants at Salishan’s Coastal Lodge and the Marketplace at Salishan…plus Chinook Winds Casino, Lincoln City’s Factory Stores and Depoe Bay. If you like Neskowin, Manzanita, Cannon Beach and Gearheart you’ll like the central location of Ebb and Flow.

Finders Keepers: Sand, Fire, Glass…It’s An Art! Hand-crafted glass floats being placed along the 7-1/2 miles of public beach in Lincoln City, from the Roads End area to the Cutler City area. You find it, you keep it!

Find your own glass float during your stay at Ebb and Flow…located on the Cutler Point Dunes…a favorite hiding location.

Very, very well prepared
This house has an incredibly cheerful vibe, exceptionally so. The layout and the coloring of the interior was done so well as to create a clean and uplifting feel. Also, I have never stayed in a vacation rental that was so incredibly well stocked with EVEVRYTING a person might need, unless maybe you require a breadmaker or a concrete mixer for your holiday :). Beds are terrific; we did not find them hard, as some reviews have stated. TV setup is really good, a rental rarity. Neighbors are absolutely quiet. Communication with the owner, Lisa was immediate, pleasant and helpful. The location is also quite unique to the usual Oregon Coast experience, mostly to the better. We've been up and down the entire coast several times and have not seen a locale quite like this one. Downsides? It can be quite windy, but, for us, that only occurred on one afternoon. That will kick up some sand. Also, hauling the kayaks to the Siletz River is a longer trek than might be indicated in the description. The strong ebb and flow of the river might challenge you, but is also part of the unique appeal of the river. The hot tub can be tricky; it did not work for us. However, it speaks to the overall wonderfulness of Ebb & Flow House that it did not really mar our lovely stay here hardly at all. We would come back again.

Beautiful Beach Getaway for the Family!
This house is excellent and functional for a large family/group. The neighborhood, location, and views are lovely. Homes in this area are very close together, so if you stay during peak times, there wouldn't be much privacy, and noise may be an issue. The only downfall to this home was the beds. All three king mattresses are very, very hard. Overall, great place and we would definitely return :)

Very enjoyable home!
We took our son and his family with three grandkids, ages 4, 6 and 7. The house is very accommodating for adults and children with plenty of space. Kitchen essentials are there but nothing extra so take any special food prep items. Great views of Siletz bay and a good beach to play on. We’d definitely go again.
