Thanks so much for choosing Jewel Box at the Beach. We’re pleased the home provided a relaxing, welcoming spot for your getaway. We set up the space and amenities so groups can unwind together, and it’s rewarding to hear it worked well. When the Oregon Coast calls again, we’d be happy to welcome you back to enjoy more shoreline time and local favorites.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and our dog and it was the perfect space for all of us! The kitchen was well stocked, fenced yard was amazing, and the fireplace was so cozy. We had a slight issue with the door code not working when checking in, but the team responded quickly and we were not waiting long to get in the house. Overall, great little place, we were happy with our stay here!

This house was a perfect size for us and our 3 adult children. It’s located in a very charming and quiet neighborhood. We were able to easily walk to the beach and it’s close to shopping and restaurants. All questions and concerns were answered immediately by the host, which is a priority for me. We had ample space for parking 2 cars as well. My only regret is that we didn’t set aside time to use the hot tub…next time perhaps. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy, cute, plenty of space and lots to make a convenient stay. Close to the beach, farther than the pictures makes it seem, could use some deep cleaning n some repairs, would be helpful if there were some flyers or information on the area for food gas entertainment and location of pool n gym, a little less privacy from the neighbors, neighbors doing some loud repairs or upgrades, some streets are narrow no sidewalks with plenty of cars coming through to get to the beach might be safer/easier to drive over, not sure where the pool or gym ended up being… fence is decorative not to keep pets in or provide privacy. Ended up being 40minutes from most of what we did, saw, n ate. There’s lots of festivals n events in the area we just missed them by a week…We had a great time!

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Close to the beach and a playground for the kids, toys and games in the house, and comfy setup. Beds are only moderately comfortable but overall it was great for our family!

This beach house was absolutely amazing! We had two adults, two kids, and a dog, and the house was equipped with everything we needed — extra pillows and blankets, plenty of propane, all the kitchenware you could think of, and even separate shower towels and beach/hot tub towels. We never ran out of anything, and if we had, there was a fully functioning washer and dryer available. The home felt so cozy and had such a great vibe. The only thing I would change is the sheer curtains — I was a little paranoid at night until I realized how quiet the neighborhood is after the first couple of days. Still, I’d prefer curtains with a bit more privacy. All I wanted to do was relax in the hot tub and grill hot dogs on the huge patio. The space was very roomy, and it was only a short drive to the beach access point. The host was also prompt and helpful with every question I had.At the end of the day, it shouldn’t matter where you lay your head as long as you’re with your loved ones — but this place truly made all the difference. I’m so glad we decided to splurge on such a gem!

Thank you for taking the time to share this — we’re so happy Jewel Box at the Beach was such a cozy, well-equipped getaway for your family and pup. It’s wonderful to hear the extras (pillows, blankets, towels, kitchenware, propane, and washer/dryer) and the roomy patio with hot tub and grill helped you relax, and that the host was prompt and helpful. We appreciate the note about the sheer curtains and will explore options for added privacy. We’d love to welcome you back to the coast.

Just because they accept pets doesn't mean they can't keep the house and furniture clean and updated. Carpet on stairs is filthy, and it looks like black mold on the master patio door, along with corroded door handle. Couldn't get hot water in the kitchen until our 4th day. TV in one bedroom does not work. Toilets are all too low for adults, especially older ones. Shades on all windows need to be replaced, no privacy and difficult to use. Cable needs to be upgraded a bit, lousy choices. Difficult to use old code device to gain entry!!! I have a few photos but for some reason they are not loading.
