It was the cutest place ever. VERY clean. Bed was super comfortable location was perfectly centered around restaurants on walking distance. Absolutely love it . Will book again.
I had some issues before arriving and the hosts were extremely accommodating and very kind. The location was very convenient with a Brookshires grocery store basically next door, the fantastic Strawn's Eat Shop less and 1/2 mile away, and Shreveport downtown was only a 3 mile drive. The apartment had everything we needed and neighbors in the other half were very cool!
It was the perfect place to stay to be close to our daughter who goes to college there. The management person Juanita was very helpful and the owner was there in a jiffy if needed. Communication was open and eager to assist.

Worst Nights Sleep Ever!
The advertised pictures looked good and the price seemed great….. BUT, this place isn’t AT ALL what you want at any price when booking a VRBO. The first night of my stay it was just under 90 degrees inside the apartment. The second night, just under 80 degrees and by the third, it finally reached 70. Unfortunately, the hottest part of the apartment is the bedroom so it was miserable and uncomfortable the entire time.
BESIDES THE HEAT, it appears the bedroom furniture was purchased at a thrift store then spray painted black all with loose fitting knobs. I could deal with that if everything was clean but that wasn’t the case either. Furthermore, the neighborhood is sketchy and definitely not an area where you’d feel safe walking after dark. The apartment has potential! If the owner invested more time renovating and upgrading it, it could be acceptable as a VRBO. I don’t recommend it at all! I did contact the property manager about my stay. They apologized and offered to refund one night. I didn’t think that was adequate but at least some attempt was made. Anyway, I’d keep looking if I were you. If you’d like pictures of this VRBO to see what I experienced please reach out to me. Thank you - Frank

120 a night should be a great place. This property is in an historic/old neighborhood, but the neighborhood is neglected and sketchy. It is right behind a grocery store and about 75 feet from a busy intersection. People were often walking behind our car going to and from the grocery store. The first thing we saw when we arrived was the tall grass and terrible condition of the walkway/steps/landing area. The sidewalk is broken in pieces and absolutely filthy. The stairs and porch lean toward the house. The first thing you see besides the dirty front door is the broken flooring at the door. This house has settled a lot and no effort has been made to make it level. The walls are very visibly leaning and the cabinets and microwave look like they will fall. There is paint in various places on the kitchen stove. The floor is very soft in front of the trash can. The floor is unlevel in the bedroom and causes the bed to lean. The mattress is beyond firm. The pillows are flat. The curtains can not be opened without pulling apart the rod. The furniture was poorly spray painted and looks terrible. The baseboards are dingy and dirty. The toilet is not secured to the floor. The bathroom sink is so unlevel it won't drain completely. The whole place has just been painted over without necessary repairs or stripping first. The bathtub was dirty. The living room is fairly nice but only overhead lighting and the couch has to be moved to recline.
