The facts deserve at least as much attention as the drama. Yes, someone knocked on the door to deliver papers addressed to me. I communicated with you about the situation, as your own review acknowledges. I could NOT corroborate the alleged attempts to enter using an access code on the Ring camera. To my knowledge, no security measure was compromised, no unauthorized entry occurred, and the property remained secure throughout your stay. An unexpected knock at the door is not, by itself, a security breach, and it does not warrant this level of theatrics. With members of your group no longer attending, I was left with the strong impression that this incident became a convenient justification for abandoning the reservation and trying to shift the cost onto me. I consider this review highly exaggerated and the reaction disproportionate to what I could verify. I take guest safety seriously. I also take accuracy and accountability seriously. Addressing your concerns does not require endorsing your version of events or accepting financial responsibility for your decision to leave. A dramatic retelling does not make an unverified allegation an established fact.
