Get some R&R in this refurbished retreat minutes from downtown Peoria in country setting alongo the river of E Peoria. Beachside with lots of space for families or a couples getaway, this 2 bedroom 2 bath house with amenities of home has the most amazing sunsets year round! Boat ramp for small boats/ kayaks or fishing in a calm cove of the river that allows for shallow water fun. Flip over this cozy home with an open floor plan & spectacular views!
The space
Hear the calming sound of the waves crashing in from anywhere in this cute 900 ft.² home. Open any of the 3 sliding patio doors to the deck that spans the back of the home. Prepare a meal on the Weber grill or breakfast together in well equipped kitchen. Lounge on the patio set on the new concrete patio with infinity river view vibes. Have a fire in our smokeless fire pit.
Open floor plan upstairs includes
~kitchen with a reverse osmosis premium drinking water filter built in, and many basic kitchen needs. ~Dinning area table w 4 chairs & 2 counter height barstools.
~Living area w sectional couch, 70” roku tv
~2 bedrooms that include room darkening blinds.
Bedroom 1 has a Queen Stern’s & Foster Mattress, alarm clock, usb outlets in bed frame, reading lights, iron, ironing board in closet, extra bedding, rocking chair and small chest of drawers, 40” Roku smart tv & antenna w local channels, as well as full length mirrors on double closet.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen hybrid mattress, 2 small nightstands and 2 lamps. Includes a closet with room to hang clothes & store items.

Downstairs a bar with mini wine fridge, Countertop ice maker, 2 oversized bean bag chairs, 2 pier one import chairs, sleeper couch bedding can be provided if need be for addl sleeping, 55” Roku tv w extension bar to plug in your fav game council, cards & board games, books, & plenty of extra space, full bath with standup shower, washer & dryer.

Beach access to river as well as our house has small boat ramp perfect for kayaks. This area of the river is in a cove and has a constant aquifer stream year round. Home to many birds, eagles, and all kinds of wildlife.
Guest access
Guests will enter home through front door. Driveway located right next to home. Front Patio/ deck spans length of house has 3 short steps. Home has back doors (3 sliding doors on top deck & sliding walk out basement door) which will only be accessible after front of house entry.
Other things to note
Our home is close proximity to our neighbors. Courtesy to their space and noise levels is appreciated.
Home has a well /septic tank. We have a reverse osmosis water filter at kitchen sink and a whole house filter as well. Plus a water softer.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please wash any pots/pans and dishes not in dishwasher. throw away trash.
Leave bed clothes on beds, fold up air mattress, place used towels on floor or hamper. make sure all remotes in proper place.
Shut any windows and doors, close room darkening coverings.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
$20/hr for early check-in or late checkout IF AVAILABLE
$100 or more fee will be applied for damaged or stained bedding and or furniture.

Girls trip

This was the perfect place for our girls trip! Quiet neighborhood, great river view and plenty to do downtown if you choose to explore. We especially enjoyed a little time on the river in the kayaks that were provided by the owner. The owner was extremely fast in her communication and provided great information prior to our trip.

Empathic host, a great house with quiet neighbors. A combination that made for a awesome stay. "One World" (pizza in Peoria) was one of the best hand thrown pizzas we have every had! We went for the unusual, and we scored. "Trefzger" ( a 150 year old bakery in Peoria Heights) was such an aroma/flavor/memory trip. Thanks

Lovely home

We used this property to get ready at the day before of our wedding. Girls upstairs and boys downstairs and it was perfect! Beautiful scenery. Amazing natural lighting. We then stayed together as a married couple. We’d love to come back every year as an anniversary house and bring the pups.The only thing I could think is the listing showed a bunk bed but it was 2 solo queens in two separate rooms. It didn’t matter for our stay as husband and wife but good to know.

We were in the Peoria area visiting and wanted a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Anabelle's property delivered in spades. Communication was excellent. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The location can't be beat, lovely view of the water. We utilized the gas grill several evenings along with enjoying the deck. Everything was clean and we had great sleeps. Cozy Retreat

Annabelle has a great home to relax in, yet if interested in exploring the local cities/area, nothing is too far from the house. We enjoyed the 2 levels and 2 of the 3 outside seating areas. We had pre and post Komen Walk comfy experiences there. Very clean, furnishings and decorating was really nice. They even had some packaged staple food you could prepare if you checked in late and didn’t or couldn’t go shopping right away for a meal!! We wished we had kayaks or paddle boards because the river was so calm. A beautiful view! Thank you Annabelle.

Perfect Getaway

My friends and I recently stayed at this fantastic house while participating in a disc golf tournament, and it exceeded our expectations. Nothing is better than a great space to spend time with loved ones, get a great nights sleep, waking up to a beautiful setting with a great cup of coffee!
