Wonderful host and a beautiful property. The home was very spacious and well-appointed with all amenities and furnishings we needed for our extended family visit to Central Illinois. Host responded quickly to every question we had during our stay. We look forward to returning during future visits to the area. It truly felt like home away from home.

This property is amazing. All 3 bedrooms have their own full bath. The furnishings are designer quality and everything in all appliances is premium quality. This home was pristine, modern and with a kitchen to be envious of. Amy the host was so accommodating and readily available. This was a wonderful place to stay for 5 adults over 3 days to do a Celebration Of Life for a departed brother. We are from So. Calif and we would definitely stay in this beautiful home again.

The home was well furnished and equipped. It was not quite what we thought for a view as we thought it bordered Wildlife Prairie Park. The beds were comfortable and supplies were plentiful. We would definitely stay again.

Amy was AMAZING. We were able to use the water, toys, and everything on Labor Day. Such an amazing family memory. Amy was responsive and helpful. The house was perfect and so clean. We had campfires and great family time.

What a perfect place for our every-other-year sibling retreat! This comfortable clean home in a peaceful rural setting was everything we needed for a wonderful 3 days together. The host Amy answered questions very promptly and even offered other options for activities at her adjacent property! We loved walking on the wooded trail and seeing the animals!… pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, and even an oppossum! The entire home has been totally renovated! Wow!!! We will cherish wonderful memories for years to come!!

Highly recommend, the property was beautiful, had everything we needed and then some! Amy and her family were so welcoming and kind! We were here for a softball tournament and she even invited the whole team to come swim in the lake! My kids got to feed and pet all the animals, swim and play volleyball and had a great time! If we ever need to go to Peoria again, we will be staying here!

Wonderful house

Such a beautiful property and remodeled home! They did such a great job with the home and updates, the bathrooms are modern and the bedrooms are comfortable. The kitchen is wonderful with brand new appliances and everything you need. We will definitely come back again!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this was, without question, the best we have ever experienced.The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The owners renovated it themselves, and their craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident everywhere you look. From the original barn beams to the quality of the materials and finishes, this is not a typical rental property—it is a thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed home. Add in the lovely views, and it is an incredibly special setting.The house was also exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. The beds were wonderful, there were more than enough towels and linens, and the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area were stocked with everything we could possibly need. So many small details had been anticipated that we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.What makes this property even more unusual are all the things available to enjoy beyond the house itself. We played pickleball, enjoyed the lake, and loved visiting the animals on the owners’ nearby property. Most importantly, the hosts are simply wonderful people. They stayed in close contact with us, were always readily available by text, and could not have been more approachable or accommodating. Check-in and check-out were effortless.It is rare to find a property where the home, setting, amenities and hosts are all equally exceptional. This one truly is.

Amazing house with lots of room!

This house was one of our favorite vacation rentals. It was very spacious and clean and came stocked with many amenities. The owners were extremely friendly and attentive. The location was beautiful and private. We grilled out, had a fire in the fire pit, and enjoyed walking the trails. We spent a lot of time entertaining our friends and family in the area. It was the perfect vacation rental for our needs! I would highly recommend this property to others!!

Weekend away

We wanted a place for 3 couples to gather and reconnect. This renovated home was perfect. Plenty of parking on a quiet road and a fully stocked kitchen. The home has been completely renovated and is perfect for short term living. All bedrooms have blackout curtains and comfy beds. The 3 full bathrooms are thoughtfully laid out. Plenty of room to create group meals. And a relaxing fire pit perfect for S’mores . Thank you, Amy .

Such an incredible gift to meet Amy + her family! The home is beautifully designed + set up with everything needed for an incredible getaway! Check in was so smooth, communication was absolutely next level, Amy + her family went above + beyond to make our stay special in every way. As amazing as all this was, the very best part for me was waking up from a very comfy bed, surrounded by peaceful beauty + sipping my morning cup with the most incredible view out every window. We decided as a family that this is our new spot for our return trips to IL!

Above and beyond

The property was perfect for our family of four, but could have easily accommodated two more people. We loved how there were two living areas. We were able to watch birds and animals from the sitting area next to the kitchen. It was so quiet, and we were able to see lots of stars at night. It was very relaxing. Amy went out of her way to make us all feel welcome. We got to meet the animals on her homestead and feed them. I think my boys will remember this trip for a long time. We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful Stay!

Property is very well kept in a quiet, rural location but within 15 minutes of everything you could need. Best equipped kitchen we have ever had at a rental! Large pots, cookie sheets, even a crock pot and cheese grater! Best communication with an owner as well. I always got a response within minutes. Ammenities are awesome with use of a large lake for swimming, kayaking, wakeboarding, slide and even fishing. Also sports courts and petting and feeding all the animals. Renting this home is like renting almost exclusive access to a resort! Owners are extremely hospitable and it was a joy to stay at their place for a week!

Love this house!

The home was beautiful and peaceful. We were there in the spring so it wasn't quite nice enough outside to sit around the fire pit, but the back patio was lovely! The beds were very comfortable, great kitchen and amenities. The home was only about two minutes from Wildlife Prairie Park, which was the reason for our visit. I highly recommend staying in this house rather than in the park accommodations!Amy and her family were incredibly kind and helpful, we really enjoyed meeting them! Our kids could not believe their eyes when we toured their farm, and couldn't get enough of roller skating inside their "barn".We didn't visit the Prairie Park as much as we would like in the past because there weren't any good accommodations until now! We will be back!!

Fabulous small town home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean and inviting. Plenty of comfortable seating with beautiful view out the back to the pond with deer, horses in the distance, and various other wildlife to enjoy watching. Plenty of space for all 6 of us to fit around the dinner table. The beds were comfy and it was nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. We didn’t have any issues with the house but did have a couple of questions for the owner,Amy, to which she responded very promptly and was very friendly and helpful. Being from a bigger city this was a nice stay out in the country where we could enjoy the scenery around us away from a busy city. However, every place you would want to visit is a quick, easy drive. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Kitchen had a variety of spices, quality utensils, baking pans, frying pans, etc. Keurig. Real wine and champagne glasses and a wine opener. Steak knives and tongs that actually grab and hold your food.Bedrooms stocked hangers and dressers. Beds topped with cozy comforters. Pillows are flat, so if you need something thicker, you may want to bring your own. Mattresses are firm and comfortable.Bathrooms supplied with TP and plenty of thick towels. Showers stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Hand soap at every sink. Full size washer and dryer in house with detergent. Plenty of hooks to hang things. Board games and cards for playing.Beautiful place with high ceilings. Three sitting areas inside and two outside. Had views of riverbed and saw many blue herons during our stay. Fire pit in the back. Quiet and relaxing. Amy, the host, is very responsive and helpful! There is a walking trail that takes you over to their farm with lots of fun animals to see. Just reach out to her and you'll be able to meet them! Highly recommend. Great for families and small groups.
