4th of July Beach trip

The property was perfectly located across the street from a private neighborhood beach…an easy walk even carrying our beach chairs. We loved the layout of the house. The two separate living areas allowed the older and younger family to retire early and not be kept awake by the poker game in the main living area. We really enjoyed the house, found everything we needed, and would definitely consider coming back.

Couples Trip

We did a 12 person couples trip and had a late arrival after midnight. Upon arrival to the house we hadn’t been sent the access codes but I chatted the owners and they responded immediately! After gaining access everything was exactly like described and pictured. Ample space and the bedrooms were beyond cozy and efficient! There were 2 entries because there is a guest house under the main house attached to the garage. Everything worked out perfectly!

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
It was a terrible experience, and the listing description was not accurate. The house has three floors, but the ground floor has a separate entrance and is not connected to the main living area, which was not clearly communicated in the listing. The property was not clean or well maintained. We found roaches and even a centipede on one of the beds. The refrigerator was not working properly, and there was a leak on the main floor. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with very few pots and pans available for cooking.Basic essentials were also missing. There were no extra toilet paper rolls, paper towels, or blankets provided. In addition, several appliances were either not working properly or were in poor condition. The only positive aspect was the location—it was within walking distance of a private beach.Other than that, our stay was extremely disappointing. The property is in serious need of renovation, better maintenance, and much higher cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

Conveniently located.

The house was clean when we arrived. About a 3 min walk to the beach entrance. Only inconvenience would be for a house as big as it is, it’s obvious there will be big parties reserving. The lack of kitchen utensils was inconvenient. Definitely needed more pots and pans. Aside from that we enjoyed the house. Also wished the bottom Level attached to the main house from the inside. Having to walk outside in the dark to get to the rest of the party was annoying.

Unsatisfied

Early check-in was not available which was not a problem but i didn't receive the code for the house until i reached out. All of the couches and chairs were super wet which messed up our clothes, batteries were missing from the room remote, the ceiling was leaking on the first night and reported the same night but no one ever came to check on it even after being told they would come out shortly. The code to the pool did not work even afer i was given several codes to try. The only good thing was the location of the property

Thank you for your feedback, Alisha. We're very sorry to hear that your experience fell short of expectations. While we’re glad you enjoyed the location, it’s disappointing to hear about the concerns with the furniture, remote, and communication regarding the leak and pool access. We strive to respond promptly and provide solutions, and we’re looking into what may have caused the delay so we can improve. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.
