Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

4th of July Beach trip

The property was perfectly located across the street from a private neighborhood beach…an easy walk even carrying our beach chairs.We loved the layout of the house. The two separate living areas allowed the older and younger family to retire early and not be kept awake by the poker game in the main living area. We really enjoyed the house, found everything we needed, and would definitely consider coming back.

Couples Trip

We did a 12 person couples trip and had a late arrival after midnight. Upon arrival to the house we hadn’t been sent the access codes but I chatted the owners and they responded immediately! After gaining access everything was exactly like described and pictured. Ample space and the bedrooms were beyond cozy and efficient! There were 2 entries because there is a guest house under the main house attached to the garage. Everything worked out perfectly!

Conveniently located.

The house was clean when we arrived. About a 3 min walk to the beach entrance. Only inconvenience would be for a house as big as it is, it’s obvious there will be big parties reserving. The lack of kitchen utensils was inconvenient. Definitely needed more pots and pans. Aside from that we enjoyed the house. Also wished the bottom Level attached to the main house from the inside. Having to walk outside in the dark to get to the rest of the party was annoying.

Early check-in was not available which was not a problem but i didn't receive the code for the house until i reached out. All of the couches and chairs were super wet which messed up our clothes,batteries were missing from the room remote, the ceiling was leaking on the first night and reported the same night but no one ever came to check on it even after being told they would come out shortly. The code to the pool did not work even afer i was given several codes to try. The only good thing was the location of the property
