Everything was perfect. The property and views were even nicer than the pictures. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and having the pool at the house. We would definitely stay again!
Location was perfect to the beach and we loved the pool. Beach waves and jellyfish got to be a little much so the pool was great for those who wanted to still be in sun.
We had a fantastic stay. We checked in two hours early, prefect location, house had plenty of room. Jelly fish were bad so the pool was a hit. Owners were quick to answer all questions. Definitely a do over!
Such a cozy, beautiful home! The ocean and bay views were amazing and such easy access to the beach! Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for opening your house to us!
te house was clean and well stocked for us...we had a great times and owner/manager was super nice to work with us and was quick to respond to our questions-- I will definately vome back to stay here again next time with my new bride🙂
The home is beautiful and family friendly!! We had the very best time. Tiffany is a wonderful host. She was always on top of things and answered all my questions fast. We cannot wait to come back again!!!
TIP:
Get gas before you turn by the Burger King to head to beach house .
We had a wonderful time, the location, home and private pool was fantastic. We did have issues with the air conditioner, but the way Tiffany handled it was very professional and she was persistent in getting us help despite being in another state. As long as the air conditioning system can be remedied we have found our vacation rental to return to.
A Christmas vacation in Alabama. The weather was cold and windy. Good points: the kitchen had all the appliances we needed. The nearness to the beach. Beach toys. Baby gates. Soft sheets. Most beds were comfy. Washer and dryer worked well. Bad points: This house was advertised as having a heated pool. When we arrived, the notebook did not include instructions for turning on the heater so I messaged the host. Her response gave instructions as if the heater would work and admonished us to not leave it on the whole time or we would be charged extra. Turns out the pool heater didn’t work at all. When we checked earlier reviews, it shows a broken pool heater two months before our visit and those occupants were told it was missing a part. So don’t expect a warm pool. As this heated pool was our main reason for picking this property we feel cheated. Inside the house the main floor master suite had a noisy bed with a sunken mattress. The bunk bedroom had no heat coming in the register (yes, we checked that it was open). So those occupants slept in all their clothes just to be comfortable. At the base of the house in the middle of the carport was a weed growing out of the concrete pad with painful stickers (Sand spurs or lawn burweed) that was almost unavoidable because they had not done any yard maintenance. Overall this was a disappointing family experience.
We were down for the Great Alabama 650 Paddle Race and this house was very convenient to the finish line. We enjoyed the pool, being able to ride bikes and beautiful views (beach and sunsets).

The location and the family friendly atmosphere of the area was great. The kitchen was well stocked and had ample room for large family. The private pool was good but does need updates to outside furniture as most were rusted. However the issues with the inside furniture was a big miss. With the exception of the main bedroom on top floor all the beds were very uncomfortable and not ideal for sleeping. The living room furniture is in much need of replacement to ensure an enjoyment stay.

Dear Tiffany DierolfI’m writing to let you know just how appalled I am by the condition of your property. I’ve been coming to this area for years and have stayed in many rentals, and I can say without hesitation that this was the worst experience I’ve had — and somehow, it was also the most expensive. The refrigerator barely works, and the water and ice feature doesn’t function at all. Outside, there’s a pile of rusted, broken furniture that not only looks awful but also presents a serious safety hazard. If someone were to fall or get cut, they’d likely need a tetanus shot. There’s also a screw sticking up out of the deck, right in the spot where people rinse their feet before getting in the pool. That kind of neglect isn’t just careless — it’s dangerous. The air conditioner clearly isn’t working properly. If setting it below 70 degrees causes it to freeze up, then it likely has a leak and is low on freon. Even with the thermostat set to 70, the temperature inside stays around 76 degrees, which is miserable. The lighting at the front stairway is virtually nonexistent, making it a hazard to even get in and out of the house at night. And the latch to the pool gate is broken — which is incredibly unsafe, especially for families with small children. The closet in the bedroom that's right off the common area is full of unused and leftover items, so much so that I couldn't even hang clothes in there. It’s also pretty clear you don’t stay in this house yourself, because if you di
A truck under the home blocked access to the steps for the second car, and a pile of rusty, broken furniture was also present. We came in at night, and the light fixture at the top of the stairs did not work. The queen mattress on the main floor was terrible, I sank 6 inches, and two foam toppers did not help a bad foundation. A much-needed coverlet was missing from that bed. LR chairs had dirty arms. The same sofa from 7 years ago needs to go to the dump. All the furniture needs to be replaced. The best sitting chair was in the main floor bedroom. I was glad to see the new outdoor dining set. The updated decks were nice. The pool service came while we were using it. The pool was a hit, it was last time. The pool furniture is mostly dangerously rusty, so we did not sit on those pieces. The far end pool ladder is loose, and trim pieces are missing. Wished that the walk-in steps had a handrail. A handyman is badly needed to fix minor things like light fixtures, hauling off the junk, and picking up trash from other visitors around the house, deck, and pool deck. The concrete parking pad must be power-washed, and the truck must be removed. The tar spilled near the parking pad badly affected the look of the whole property. While the maid service was good, the linens were not up to par. Thin, cheap sheet sets and old towels. What happened to the nice ones on the beds when Haley was the owner? So much maintenance required. The a/c handler outside is dirty and will stress the unit.
We came to visit and rest with family who live in Michigan. The house was a great set up for 5 adults and two dogs. The only minor issue for us was the pool wasn’t heated due to a part that didn’t come in, and it was a chilly week all else was great!
We enjoyed being able to stay at this property, see and hear the waves. The private pool was perfect even though the heater was broken, the owner stayed in good contact with us the entire time and even allowed for an early check in. Everything listed was accurate. Location was nice and quiet which is what we wanted to have a nice time to relax. Being able to take our dog with us was just a very nice added bonus for our trip.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Pet Friendly beach house. Very Nice and Clean! Having our own private pool at the end of the day was fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked. Only negative was the Adult Children stated the non master bedroom mattresses were in need of replacement.
Perfectly appointed for a stay with a decent sized group. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need (including a plethora of spices, which is always a nice addition!) The guide book lays out all the details that you can often overlook, too, like how to load the fridge so you don't overwhelm it :D The layout of the house was perfect for hanging out and socializing but the sleeping spaces allowed for privacy, too. The pool was perfect for our group of five, and the walk to the beach is over in an instant. We will definitely return!
A very nice house with an easy vibe. Well stocked kitchen! Nice pool area to take a break from sand and it felt like home away from home. The perfect place to reconnect with each other and nature! We loved our time here!
