Nova Scotia’s North Shore Cottage
Enjoy our quiet beach and swim in the warmest waters north of the Carolinas! Watch the seals sunbathe at low tide while the herons and sandpipers search for hermit crabs. Enjoy the panoramic water view and amazing summer sunsets. Access the ATV Trails and Snowmobile trails nearby. You need only pack a bag, everything you need is close by in either River John or Tatamagouche.

Everything you could need to enjoy your stay is here and we encourage you to use our things!
Guest access
Outdoors:
Barbecues (propane and charcoal), fire pit (and wood), hammock, toys, badminton, croquet, and washer toss. We have a right of way to the beach close by (pictured) that includes a sitting area with a bench. There are folding chairs under the stairs, and more in the large shed, for beach use.
There's also a large second story patio with umbrella, dining table, deck chairs and propane fire table.
Indoors:
Crib, crokinole, board games, dart board, Smart TV in main room and small TV with built in DVD player in the main floor bedroom with lots of DVDs. As well, a Bose Bluetooth speaker.
We leave condiments and various kitchen essentials for your use.
Enjoy our large soaker tub, with fireplace, in a sauna-like setting. Lots of hot water!!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please wash, dry and put away your dishes.
Place 'sorted' garage in receptacles end of driveway.
Blue bags (1 with paper, 1 with tins/plastic in porch) -Blue bin; compost green bag (under sink) -Green Bin and garbage (in clear bag)-Black bin
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
