Welcome to Malibu House Anguilla. The word "Malibu" is Chumash for “waves crash loudly," and since Malibu is our hometown, it seemed fitting to name our Anguilla house the same. Malibu House Anguilla is a luxury 3br, 3ba boutique rental property located on one of the most vibrant, coveted beaches in the world, anchored by the Four Seasons on one end and the Maliouhana on the other.

The property features an oceanview wraparound porch - an idyllic way to enjoy your morning coffee, or end your day with a glass of wine. With seating for 8, your party can relax and enjoy a wonderful meal while enjoying Anguilla’s legendary tradewinds.

The home is restored throughout, with all-new A/C units in each bedroom and in the living room. Both en-suite primary bedrooms feature king-sized Beautyrest mattresses and European linens. The third bedroom is equipped with two queen-sized Beautyrest beds. The house is equipped with high speed wifi throughout and the TV in the living room has access to over 4000 channels

Special services can be arranged including car rental, personal chef, tennis lessons, boat charters, horseback riding (our FAVE!), or spa appointments.

Housekeeping (every other day) included in room fee. 13% government tax/10% service will be added to the base nightly rate. Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are quoted in USD.

Walking Distance to Four Seasons

Steve and Jen are excellent hosts. Best communication of any vacation rental to date. They were so helpful not only during our stay, but months prior. The house was sweet and the perfect location for us to walk to the Four Seasons where half of our party was staying and the majority of our activities took place. Just a few things that would have made the stay a bit better. The hot water does not last long, making consecutive showers difficult. There was a water leak coming up from underneath the house which created puddles of water on the tile in hallway and one of the bathrooms. Obviously, this is not anyone’s fault and should not be considered a flaw of the owners or the house, as things happen. I’m sure they will assess the situation as they take meticulous care of their home. The view from the back bedroom is not at all pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience, would definitely stay again, and you could not ask for better hosts.

4th trip to Anguilla, and this is the first property where I would not return on a future visit. Lack of hot water for showers (only had for about 25%) is the deal breaker. Handyman checked, but no immediate fix - just suggestion to not take consecutive showers, which we'd already been avoiding. Owner said hot water heater may be too small, but they had never experienced this issue to the extent we did. No recompense for lack of hot water though I asked due to the negative impact this had on our trip. Owners apologetic and said they will fix down the road, but they only offered discount on a future stay. House has many positives: spacious, comfortable layout & fresh decor. Great extras like beach bags & plush towels, and high-quality materials like luxury linens, gourmet kitchen ware & comfy beds. Great AC. Location mixed. Easy access to Four Seasons & quick walk to beach. One thing we did not realize from photos was the house sits on what appears to be a more local street versus being in a resort-style neighborhood. A couple of houses (behind/beside) appear vacant and in disrepair. We always felt safe, though we also didn't walk about at night as freely as when we stay on-resort. This location gives more of an island-life flavor, which some may enjoy. But, if you are expecting a more manicured/resort feel, this street location is not that. Prompt, clear & proactive communication from owners. Helpful island/house guide provided pre-checkin.

The Secret to Paradise!

We’ve just come back from a magical week at Steve & Jen’s house in Anguilla and we can’t wait to go back! HOSTS: Steve and Jen are simply amazing hosts. Totally communicative, responsive, so helpful with information, taxis, car rental, grocery suggestions, water shuttles, activity and restaurant suggestions, anything. They arranged for the lovely Russell to take us to and from the port, the super helpful Argen waiting for us at the house to show us around (and give us his cell number in case we needed anything), a rental car to be delivered to the house before we arrived (and picked up the day we left), and the lovely housekeeper Granny, who came every other day. Steve got back to us about every question right away and they seemed just as excited for our trip as we were. Best hosts ever! LOCATION: The house is located just above Meads Bay, the very best beach on the island, and there’s a very quick and easy path Argen showed us on our first day. It’s about a sixty second walk, and from the house you have a view of the ocean and can hear the rolling waves. Best location on the island. THE HOUSE: Beautiful, spotless, elegant, with three real bedrooms, each with insanely comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom, a lovely living room, dining area, and a fully outfitted kitchen. Steve and Jen just completed a stunning renovation, beautifully decorated, simple and modern with a touch of Malibu flair. We were there with our two teens (who loved having their own spaces) but the house could easily fit three couples. Great to have laundry, and loved the outdoor shower. We spent a lot of time at the end of each day sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean and sipping rum punches. OVERALL we truly felt like we had our own secret hideaway in paradise. Thank you Steve & Jen— we will definitely be back!

Having visited Anguilla more than 50 times over the years, we've cultivated an intimate relationship with the island and its people, and are happy to provide plenty of recommendations to make sure that your stay is absolutely incomparable. We're so excited for you to explore this magical place!

Why they chose this property

The location of our home - on one of the most vibrant, coveted beaches in the world, anchored by the Four Seasons on one end and the Maliouhana on the other - is absolutely unbeatable. We looked everywhere for the perfect ocean views, and we found them in Mead's Bay - and we love being just steps from the nightlife and restaurants (including the Four Seasons).

What makes this property unique

We purchased this property as a labor of love - it's a true family home - and renovated every inch of it with care and attention to detail. We've included everything we would want - including brand-new A/C in *every* room (this is huge!), hi-speed Wifi, Italian-made sheets, a luxe primary bath with indoor/outdoor shower, and gorgeous furnishings throughout.
