JOYCE'S SEASIDE COTTAGE is well equipped with all the comforts of home and sleeps 6. WE EVEN HAVE A STAIRLIFT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITES. It is dreamy and poetic, safe, quiet and is located amidst rambling gardens with rock waterfalls and a backyard pond, lush native plants, trees and pathways that meander throughout the property. A beautiful gazebo awaits you in the garden that you can enjoy from your very own cozy upstairs private balcony off the sunroom! Ceilings are high and rooms are big. THREE FULL BATHROOMS! Two with showers and one does have a tub. We respectfully request no children under 18 at THE COTTAGE. This gated private property offers you PREMIER access to the beach, and at the same time offers complete privacy. Just walk across the street to the beach with your boogie boards and picnic, then walk home and rinse off in the outdoor shower!
2 bedrooms + two bathrooms and an inviting sunroom/library with private balcony are upstairs, (which can be used as a bedroom to sleep 2 on the pullout trundle bed). The master has a vaulted ceiling and a large and roomy closet with lots of extra bedding and linens.
Downstairs is a great room including kitchen, dining room and living area…a most inviting space to revitalize your spirit and relax after enjoying the beautiful beach across the street! An upright grand piano is ready for your playing enjoyment. All doors open out to patios and gardens which you are welcome to explore and use. There are lots of beach amenities, beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs for your use as well. Also a new high-spec washer and dryer AND there is AIR CON!
The kitchen in JOYCE’S SEASIDE COTTAGE is extremely convenient and we have even installed a water purifier at the sink so you DON’T EVER HAVE TO BUY BOTTLED WATER!!!!!!
Listen to the sound of the waterfall in the East garden as you enjoy your breakfast or relax in garden. The house has two cable TV’s (one in the master bedroom and one in the great room). This is one of two separate homes that sit on 1/2 acre of land which is available for your use. It is a nice little walk from JOYCE’S SEASIDE COTTAGE to pick up some picnic items and head to the beach or go kayaking. The small and exclusive village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, kayaks and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak. Or just go for a swim and lay in the beautiful warm California sunshine! We are all SMILES HERE!!
