The view was beautiful and it was right on the lake. The check in was smooth. However, it was not the cleanest place. There were mouse dropping in the camper, the coffee pot on the porch had mold and there were a few items on the floor and very dusty in a few areas. We enjoyed our stay but attention to detail with cleanliness was lacking.

This is a remote camp in a wooded area. It is camping and advertised as such. I communicated with gUests and didn‘t hear of any complaints Until after check out.
The location is amazing. Beautiful lake, set up on a little hill. Great piece of property and very quiet. Plenty of room for our family. We loved fishing and exploring the area and shopping at all the little Amish stands. You are at a camp so be prepared for the regular camp problems, bugs, lake water, critters but we were ready coming in. Overall this was a beautiful spot, with plenty of room and amenities for our family. Our only issues had nothing to do with the homeowners and everything to do with nature, which is nature. Bugs are bugs, the lake is the lake.
Nice indoor areas (Both spaces) Elders may have issue with Nightime potty trips from Bunkhouse.Overall a perfect place to stay for our Fishing Excursion....
My family had a quiet and relaxing stay at Black Lake for a long weekend. The bunk house was fun and functional, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The camper was fully functional and allowed for cooking and showers. This was a very peaceful lake community and would recommend visiting if you are looking to check out and relax.
The property is very private located down a dirt road. Just what we were looking for! The property owner was very responsive and quick to respond to any questions. The bungalow was great. Especially the screened porch to watch the wildlife on the lake. Better view of the lake from the camper and fire pit area. The property was very clean and well equipped.
The bunk house was wonderful and inviting. Clean and spacious. Outdoor bathroom was better then one would expect an outdoor bathroom to be. Clean and nicely decorated. Camper left something to be desired, dirty and water damaged. Bunk house more then made up for it though. Great view from the fire pit area. Great dock. Kids fished off it all week and lost count after catching 30+ fish on day one. Communication was exceptional, would recommend this host!
We had a wonderful time just hanging out by the fire with plenty of room for everyone! The kids took the camper and the adults in the cabin. It was nice to have the dog along with us. If you bring a dog that likes water, beware of Blue-green algea blooms in the lake. Our dog doesn't care for water so it wasn't a problem but I did notice one on our second to last day. Will certainly consider booking again next year! Thanks so much Kelly!

The location of this spot of very unique! Our teen boys really enjoyed kayaking the bay and caught lots of fish close to the house. We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the area. I do wish I knew ahead of time that you need to bring your own water for cooking. There is water at the bathhouse and camper but both are lake water. We had to run into town to get water for cooking so that we didn’t use all of our drinking water and it was a bit inconvenient not knowing ahead. The outside shower did not have heat which was a bummer, as we had two small families staying and the water was way too cold to use so we all had to take turns in the camper shower which was tough. The cabin was beautiful and the porch which made up for the water issues.
To long of a dirt road to reach property water to shallow to fish didn't like that there wno bathroom in the cabin not easily accessible for the elder people on property very clean great host
