We recently visited Fort Worth, Texas, and stayed at the BlackHouse, and it was a fantastic experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating for our group size. It had everything we needed, and the setup made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy the stay.Omar was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress free. The location was also a big plus, easy to find and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions and amenities.Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.
I stayed here with my girlfriends and we absolutely loved it! Each room was decorated in such fun, cute ways! Omar was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Would definitely be happy to stay again!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Host was good with communication and let us check in early. It is close to downtown as well. However, the cleanliness was 0/10. There were stains on the bed and bedding, bodily fluids on the furniture, and stains on the walls in the bathroom. Lots of loose fixtures and furniture. The outside needed upkeep and there was clutter out back. The location is sketchy with a lot of leery foot traffic.

Emily, I’m glad communication and early check-in were smooth. Cleanliness and maintenance are core priorities, so I took your notes seriously.
You reached out shortly after early arrival and shared photos; I offered to replace items and to send the cleaner back out (including to address the couch), and also shared how to contact Vrbo if you preferred to relocate. You chose not to have anyone come by during the stay and decided to remain in the home.
Since then, I’ve escalated this with our cleaning and maintenance teams and tightened our post-clean inspection checklist with added focus on linens, upholstery, bathrooms, and loose fixtures.
You also flagged a leaking dishwasher at checkout—this has been repaired by fixing the gasket that was causing the leak.
For future guests: this is an older, centrally located home near downtown in an urban area—please review the listing details and neighborhood context to ensure it matches your preferences.
Spent a week in Fort Worth for the NCHA Metallic Cat Futurity. The blackhouse was the perfect place for us to stay for our visit. Clean, comfortable, all the amenities and the perfect location. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!
My friends and I stayed here because we were attending a conference at the Fort Worth Omni Hotel. This space was perfect for us and Omar was an excellent host!

Morgan and her group were wonderful guests. I would definitely host again.
The location of the property was convenient. $15-$20 Uber rides to the stock yards. Neighborhood was run down but you can tell they are trying to update many homes.
This house has such a unique inside and outside appearance. It’s such a vibe.
Beautiful decor, bedding, etc. cheap Uber riding distance for 7th street and the stock yards.
The neighborhood it’s in is ran down with a lot of cats but it didn’t affect our stay.
We had a bachelorette party here and it was totally worth it. The pool and deck were perfect for our party of 7 and the location is perfect also nothing more than a 12 min uber ride away.
