Super clean and cozy place. The nearby ocean view was a pleasant surprise and it’s so quiet at night. We didn’t hear a peep from our neighbors. Great for a quiet couple getaway. We would absolutely stay again!

Very quiet and peaceful stay at the Gnome house. The home was equipped with all the amenities I needed to prepare meals, the hot water tank was sufficient for a nice shower, and the neighborhood had a lot to offer in terms of wildlife, views and hiking trails. The location was a great balance of being close enough to the main entrance of Olympic National Park, while being far from the crowded/noisy areas. It is a location I would consider for a longer term stay if I wanted to spend a summer on the Olympic peninsula, as it felt like home. The staff helped me get situated quickly and I was even able to use one of the bikes to ride on the Olympic Discovery trail.

We enjoyed our time at the Gnome home.It was a quiet area with a very cool path leading to the beach. There was an eagle nesting to the west of the path. We also loved watching the deer graze throughout the area.We spent our days traveling all over ONP. This was a great location to return to after a busy day exploring. There are a LOT of gnomes. It did make us think of Rockwell lyrics every time we used the shower. But once we made friends with the gnomes, we got along famously.We highly recommend The Gnome Home. We hope to stay there again! Oh and the bed is comfortable!

Beautiful place to stay! I don't think we could have loved it more! 100% recommend staying in this quiet little community! The house itself was great! Perfect for our needs between going out to explore the park. We absolutely loved the nature trail and all the places to look out at the strait, listen to the waves and watch the sunsets. First day I went directly to the beach and found some pretty rocks and a couple shells. On the nature trail, there were ripe blackberries that we couldn't help but eat! Then there's the deer... Who are plenty and so cute to see wandering around. All in all a wonderful place!Plus... I also collect gnomes so I was destined to stay there. Wish we could visit more often. We live across the country!

Gnome home

Great access to beautiful beachside trail

We had a great stay and loved exploring the trail around the beach, just a few steps outside of the gnome home. The place was cozy and just what we needed while exploring the area around Olympic National Park. Would definitely recommend staying here as the location is super central to many of the park attractions.

I really enjoyed staying at The Gnome Home. It was very peaceful and relaxing after long days spent hiking. The beach trail is amazing and we even received some deer visitors in our front yard. The home was clean and all amenities were provided. Would love to stay again sometime!
