About the host
Hosted by Madie Moon
We’re Madie and Mason, parents, travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Olympic Haus is our very first home, and opening it to guests has been such a meaningful chapter in our story. Hosting gives me the chance to stay home with our son and homeschool him while we build a life centered on family and adventure. We love sharing this beautiful part of Washington and hope it becomes a cozy home base for you too.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this area because it captures everything we love about the Pacific Northwest. It’s peaceful and tucked between the mountains and the water, yet just minutes from downtown, hiking trails, and scenic drives. We enjoy watching deer wander through the yard in the mornings and love how easy it is to head out for an adventure and still come back to a quiet, relaxing space.
What makes this property unique
Olympic Haus is more than a place to stay. It was our first home, and we’ve poured our hearts into making it warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. From the cozy coffee nook to the string-lit patio and fenced yard where deer often pass through, every detail was created to make your stay comfortable and memorable. It’s a space made for slowing down, reconnecting, and experiencing the Olympic Peninsula the way locals do.
