After long days of hiking around Olympic National Park, this was the perfect place to decompress. Starting a fire, gazing at the stars, and relaxing in the spa was perfect. I wish we had more time for the board and lawn games! We also saw lots of deer during the drive. Less than an hour drive to Marymere Falls, Devils Punchbowl, etc. 10/10 would recommend
My husband and I loved staying at this adorable home! This place was pristine, quiet, and had a well appointed kitchen! The fireplaces, hot tub, and yard games were greatly enjoyed after a long day of hiking! We will be back and plan on bringing the kids and my family!
The house was absolutely amazing, way better than the pictures. Lots of space and room. When I come back to Port Angeles/Sequim area, I will definitely see if this house is available.
We really enjoyed staying at Chris’ place. He was a great host and everything was on par or better than advertised. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and some nice goodies/coffee left out for us. The home itself was quite large compared to what we expected along with a beautiful porch and delightful hot tub. It was only a 10 minute drive from the main road but felt nice and secluded in the woods with privacy from neighbors. It was only 15-20 minutes to downtown PA. For us it was the perfect location to explore ONP. And for those of you considering that aspect, it was absolutely stunning scenery with lots of nice hikes.
My family of 5 adults stayed for 2 nights. Nice location with surrounding forest. Enjoyed the large space and ability to spread out, the hot tub was also great. Highly recommend!
This house was wonderful place for a weekend away with another friend couple. Two king rooms, cozy beds, good space for meals and games, and hot tub. Highly recommend!
We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the place. It’s very quiet, well landscaped and has a great fire pit and horseshoe pit. Kitchen is well equipped. We would stay there again!
Base camp for our Olympic National Park adventures
So happy with this VRBO. Extremely clean and well appointed with everything you could need! Check in was easy and check out even easier! Appreciate not having a long list of to do’s prior to leaving. Loved the hot tub and the area was so relaxing/quiet. Would definitely rent again!
this beautiful home is tucked away in a private neighborhood off the main road. host was very responsive and accommodating. would absolutely recommend this space for anyone wanting a little r+r without the presence of neighbors. felt like i was alone deep in the woods, with only having to be a quick drive into town for any of my needs.
This property is stellar! Convenient location to hurricane ridge, crescent lake, hoh rainforest and sol duc. Very comfortable house and property. Chris is a super super super host.
Impeccable communication, location, and home. Very clean, well-appointed with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Spacious, with great outdoor space and amenities. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommend and would stay here again if ever back in the Olympic Penninsula. Thanks Chris for a great stay.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house outside of Port Angeles. The house is spacious, the furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen is well appointed (love using knives that are actually sharp!), comfy beds, and nice bathrooms. Hot tub was welcome after a day of hiking. Lovely gardens, and peaceful spot. Truly one of my favorite homes away.
Highly recommend!!!
The property is just as the pictures show but even better in person. We loved the family topic conversation starter cards on the dining table, enjoyed the hot tub, horseshoes and sitting on the deck watching the deer graze in the evenings and early morning. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Host very prompt and responsive with communication. Highly recommend!!
The quietist night sleep I’ve probably ever had. This house is very spacious, welcoming and clean. We loved the little decorative touches, coffee making options, cleanliness and attention to detail for the guests. Waking up to sit with coffee on the porch and watch the wildlife was a highlight. Returning from a hike in Olympic National forest to a soak in the hot tub with a book, is also one of my favorite moments.
