Lake cabin

The location of the property was perfect. The view from the the cabin was also great. The property itself can definitely be improved. Better lighting at night down the stairs would be very helpful as well as a more sturdy handrail. A few minor housekeeping issues - no flat sheets clean on beds(laundry left in basket by the previous guests) overall cleanliness was fair.. If possible upgrades with a bigger shower and even a half bath downstairs would be great. A few sturdy chairs outside would be nice by the fire pit or pier The resort the property was in is very quiet and neighbors very nice! Overall cost for the week seemed a bit high as well compared to the area

Quaint and rural

Overall, the cabin was cute and clean. It was right on the water. Very rural area of Wisconsin. If you've never been in the Northwoods, there are a number of businesses that are "cash only" so be prepared. The only thing that gave us any pause was that the 2nd bedroom was only accessible by either outside steps or an indoor ladder. If I'd been traveling with young children, the ladder would have made me very nervous. As it was, I wasn't comfortable using the ladder. We ended up not using the second bedroom because of that. Also, GPS got confused and had a hard time locating us as the location is so rural. Difficult to find when we arrived in a thunderstorm. I'm still not sure if I was using the correct entrance, but we found it! Still very satisfied with the property. Very quiet.
