Our team had a great stay at the cabins! The cabins had a lot of outdoor space that was great to sit at to relax or do work. There were swings, multiple decks, and areas to sit at outside. It also gave us a beautiful view of the lake and a great space to swim and enjoy the scenery. Both cabins were also great, having a bathroom for almost every room and a lot of space to sit for our large group during dinners. The rooms were also great, providing room for everyone to share a queen bed and a nice room. The host was also great, his communication was top notch and he gave us very clear instructions for check in and check out and made our experience very easy to navigate.

Our stay at White Oak Point --Russells Fort and The Cabin was excellent. The property location, views, many many amenities exceeded my expectations. The beauty of the historic restoration and use of woods inside and the rustically pleasant decor contributed to our enjoyment. James, our owner/host was delightful and could not do enough for us. Just a few constructive comments. it would be helpful to have instructions on working the dishwasher. We could have used a larger roasting type pot or tray for the oven. As we mentioned to James, improved lighting in the kitchen is needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the seating on the decks and porches--quite delightful. We all thank you for your efforts.

An absolutely amazing experience! Even with the rainy days, the family had a blast. There were 14 of us, including 7 teenagers and grandpa. There was so much for everyone to do. Location was perfect. There are lots of stairs and getting between the two properties is a bit of an obstacle course but that seemed to make it all the more fun for kids; but would make it tricky for older folks or people with mobility issues. If you are just staying in the cabin rather than both houses, this wouldn’t be an issue. Overall- fabulous! We can’t wait to come back!
