About this property

Cedar Haven - A Hiker's Retreat

We are located in a quiet neighborhood in Mariposa Pines. Nestled in the Sierra National Forest among the cedar and sugar pine trees my cozy cabin is the perfect hiker's retreat. Nearby hiking and mountain biking trails are easily accessible out the front door. My place is good for couples and business travelers looking to connect with nature.
Approximately one hour to the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The home has 3 floors and is accessed via stairs. There is a washing machine and dryer in the lower basement. On the main floor there is the master bedroom with adjoining full bathroom with shower and vintage claw-foot tub. On the main floor there is also a full kitchen, dining table, comfortable couches and a streamable smart TV. From the main floor there is access to two patio areas, complete with a BBQ and dining table. There are stairs that lead up to the loft/mezzanine floor where there is a foyer with an upright piano in a room in front of the second bedroom. This bedroom also has a bathroom with a walk in shower.

Backpackers Respite
Stayed here with my dad and brother after a few days backpacking in the Yosemite backcountry. The cabin had everything we needed to become fully refreshed and clean. Would highly recommend staying if you’re visiting the park.

Too Short
We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the accommodations. It is a very pleasing setting and it is just as described. I would suggest that this stay needs to be longer that one night to really appreciate the stay. Otherwise the drive to and from is not really worth it.
