Jeff, a native of Chicago, is a retired writer and nonprofit manager. Marrianne, originally from Pittsburgh, is a professional communicator employed at the University of Chicago. They are enthusiastic supporters of Chicago and anxious to host guests from around the world in their lovingly renovated historic home on Chicago's near South Side.
Why they chose this property
A beautifully restored and modernized 1886 building close to downtown is a perfect place for large family gatherings, a group of friends, or business travelers who need easy access to McCormick Place Convention Center. The large, fully equipped kitchen features a double electric oven (one convection) a gas stovetop, a kitchen-aid mixer, baking supplies and more. A deck, grill and garden in the backyard provide a perfect setting for outdoor meals. Very high speed internet allows for multiple people to be online with no delays. Full streaming services available in living room.
