The property was tidy. It was also a beautiful house. However, I will say if you have a family member who has trouble getting up and down stairs it may not be the property to rent. Since it is an older house, the steps are quite steep. We had no issue but I could see how it might be an issue if anyone handicap or elderly is staying there, which is why I mention it. The host was very responsive when I messaged her. Overall it was a nice property to stay at.

Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, one block from town beach and plenty of bedrooms with super comfy beds and fresh linens! Our family (8) stayed here for a fantastic long weekend.
All the rooms were spacious and clean. This had a balcony.

Family Wedding in Old Saybrook

My nephew got married and we needed room for 6 of us with two full bathrooms. The location was great! We had some great Lobster Bisque and amazing Pizza! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

As Expected

This old colonial home was very charming. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing to be aware of is there is only air conditioning in 4 of the bedrooms and it was quite hot while we were there. The location is great, and it's a short walk in to town.
