Welcome to The Sandy Hideaway, a beautifully furnished and spacious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in the highly sought-after Summer Salt community of Orange Beach. With 2,005 sq. ft. of bright coastal living space, this two-story retreat comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests—perfect for large families and groups of friends.

The main level features an inviting living area and a well-stocked kitchen equipped with everything you need for home-cooked meals or convenient takeout from nearby local favorites. The ensuite primary bedroom is also located on this floor, offering comfort and privacy. A half bathroom in the living area adds extra convenience. Step outside to the front or back porch—each accessible from the main level—and enjoy peaceful rocking chairs ideal for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or unwinding with evening drinks. Additional amenities include a sleeper sofa, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer for a seamless stay.

Upstairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, ensuring everyone has plenty of space and privacy while preparing for a day of beach fun or exploring Orange Beach.

Public beach access at Romar Beach is less than a mile away, making beach days easy and convenient. The Sandy Hideaway is also within walking distance of popular local spots like Live Bait, Beachside Mini Golf, The Ruby Slipper Café, and Doc's Seafood.

As a guest of the Summer Salt community, you'll enjoy wonderful resort-style amenities, including a zero-entry pool, putting green, and fire pit—everything you need for a relaxing and fun coastal escape. Please note that Summer Salt Pool is closed seasonally November 1st - March 1st yearly.

• NO SMOKING | NO PETS: Strictly enforced.

• SUPPLIES PROVIDED: We provide a starter kit that includes one round of bath soaps and toilet paper in each bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with one round of paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. Please bring additional supplies for the remainder of your stay.

House and property was nice. 5 minute walk to community pool. Nice shaded area for pool. B'que grill not available; we bought one. Check in and out was easy. Nice new community near to beach area. Putt-Putt golf 5 minute walk away.

Beautiful Vacation Home

The Sandy Hideaway is beautiful. The beach decor was perfect. Was had a nice view from the front porch and the screened in porch on the back. It was very convenient to the beach and all of the other hot spots. We hope to come back again.

Access to the beach was good, it’s a good walk we didn’t even attempt. We drove then you have to pay for parking was the only thing about this property. One upgrade I would recommend for This property would be a grill. Condos to the left and right had grills but unfortunately this location didn’t. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Place for Families!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We stayed with kids ages 4-10 and they loved it! The public pool was never too crowded and all of our children were able to enjoy it. Having 3 full bathrooms was perfect! The location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Communication with the property managers was very easy and they always responded quickly. The only downside is that walking to the beach is very unsafe. You have to cross a 4 lane main road without a red light. Not the owner’s fault, but something to consider if staying with small kids. You will need to drive and pay for parking at the public beaches. Definitely worth the stay and we will come back the next time we visit Orange Beach!

Check in was great. Kitchen - coffee pot was broken so we had to drive every morning to get coffee for the day. Only gave one trash bag and one pod for the dishwasher- when staying for a week and a house that sleeps 12 people - this was unaccceptable. Also several things in the house were broken including two of the toilet paper holders and one of the chairs in the family room. Would have appreciated some tips for the area, which beaches to go to, best places to eat, etc. these things you can google but having a personal touch is nice.

Very nice accomodations

Very nice property with good location to lots of activities and the beach. Laundry room was very helpful after a day at the beach. Open living room for large groups and enjoyable patios. Only downside is all the TVs are smart TVs but the wifi is unable to handle any kind of load. With larger groups wanting to watch different things no one got to watch anything because of the poor WiFi.

Beautiful Condo

Overall the house and stay were wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. However, we were told the day we got there that the next day we would have people coming to work on the roof. We were told it would only take about 30 minutes and the owner felt bad, so they would be dropping off a gift card for the inconvenience. The workers were actually there about 2 hours and no gift card was ever dropped off.

Nice Property

We had a nice stay at Summer Salt. The neighborhood is in a very convenient location. There was an alligator lurking while my boys were fishing which made me nervous. I wish they would have some type of fencing up to keep them from just coming up in your back yard. The kitchen was very well stocked. The furniture isn't very comfortable which is sometimes expected at a vacation home but this property isn't very old so I would have thought it would have been in better shape. The master bedroom mattress was really uncomfortable for us but no one else complained about their beds and my husband and I both have back issues so maybe that is why. We didn't have any issues during our stay but I didn't like the fact that we were encouraged to call the internet or cable company ourselves if we did have issues. I feel like that is part of the property managers job. Overall it is a nice property.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We know there are alligators in those waters is why we send out so many wildlife warnings and have signs posted in the house and in the car port. It is highly recommended not to fish in those waters for that same reason. We also state in our house instructions that it is much faster and easier for you to call the cable or internet company yourself as they need someone physically there to troubleshoot.
