Just came to visit friends- location is great if you want to get away a bit- Marietta is a wonderful little town on the river. Yes, there is a busy train nearby- yes, it adds to the surroundings!
Building is great and clean, very comfortable and tons of space.
Will definitely return in the future.
Had a wonderful time with friends in Marietta celebrating a birthday. The property is Gorgeous and beautifully appointed. Convenient to walk to many restaurants and walking trail. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The house is as beautiful. Interior is picture perfect! It looks bigger in the pictures, but overall a great house. Upstairs can be hot and downstairs cold, but have the same issue in my house. Walls are really thin, you can hear every conversation made in the rooms. Also, property right near train tracks and the freight trains blow there horns right in that area. They seem to be pretty active tracks since we even heard the horns at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would probably consider again, but not at what the rate is now.
This property was perfect for two cousins and their families attending a family reunion. The rooms were just the right size to fit everyone comfortably, and there were two sitting areas with very comfortable sofas and chairs to relax in. The aesthetic was bold and contrasted interestingly with the architecture of the building. We also enjoyed the variety of artwork displayed and small details like handpainted designs on the light switchplates. Though we didn't use the kitchen for more than making coffee, it was well-organized and stocked with a matching set of beautiful mugs - it can be assumed that the other tableware is of a similar quality. The bathrooms likewise were well-designed and stocked with soap and shampoo and large, plush bath sheets. There were several matching spare blankets in every room. This was a house you would want to live in, and at one point we expressed regret that reunion activities kept us busy elsewhere and that we wanted more time to just hang out at this house - it was that comfortable and appealing.
There is only one potential drawback that did not bother our group. Sounds transmit somewhat easily between the upper and lower floors, so if you're very sensitive to sounds in other rooms, this amazing house might not be right for you.
I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful but fair warning...
I went with my family which includes wife, 3 kids, my mom and brother. Everyone loved the decor of the place and so many great features of the house. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. It really had everything you would want in a rental but we didn't realize it was located right next to a railroad. And unfortunately there were no less than 7 freight trains that passed by the property between the sleeping hours of 10 pm and 8 am. We had our sound machines on but the house must be near a intersection for the railroad and so each train blared their horns for at least 5 seconds each time they passed. I am a light sleeper so I did not sleep more than 30 minutes the entire night. Others in our group had the same experience although some who were heavy sleepers were not bothered. Unless you are a heavy sleeper, this is definitely not worth the expense because it was completely frustrating. My brother who never goes on vacation didn't sleep a wink which made me feel horrible for picking the house. If I needed a place to just spend the day I would go back in a heartbeat. But as a place to sleep, which was our main purpose, it completely fails. I feel bad because every feature of the house is beautiful and thoughtful but if the train schedule is typical on other nights, there is a good chance you'll hear the train often and loud.
This property was perfect for our large group. We went to a festival at the Yok Expo center. A little distance but no problems getting an uber. The house was fully stocked with everything you may need. Great art work around the house to enjoy as well. Cute town, great host and comfortable beds!!!
We have several tournaments at York Expo throughout the year and this property, while not right in York, provided for a great commute and a very fun and stylish house for our coaches. Hope to stay there again.
Our team flew in from Grand Rapids, MI for a 16Y girls basketball tournament. This home worked perfectly for the 6 of us and well located close to the gym in a sweet little town. The home is well stocked, decorated to perfection and clean. We had everything we needed. Grocery shopping was close by and the little town had a pub, pizza and ice cream within walking distance. Our host was excellent as well!
