Great spot for the 4 of us. Everything like the pictures. Hot tub was a great added bonus! We spent the day walking around Downtown Lancaster and then drove the 15/20mins.
The cottage was cozy and warm with beautiful views! The beds were comfy and the set up was perfect for games and conversation. The hot tub made it the perfect weekend!
Such a cozy little house! Loved the hot tub & country views! Host was very accommodating and communicated well! Definitely would highly recommend this place to others!
We stayed one night at the cottage for the bride-to-be’s mini getaway. Very peaceful spot, clean house, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night. Host provided all information that was needed without asking.
This was a stay for a family wedding. The peoperty was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, the drip coffeemaker (not a Keurig!), and the prompt replies of the host.
Loved the property, exactly as described and perfectly clean. House had all the amenities you could ask for. Location is perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend away. Drive into Lancaster from the property only 20 mins and through very beautiful countryside. Our favorite part was grilling out on the back deck, catching the sunset, and winding down in the hot tub.
We loved this little cottage. It was beautiful. And the property and location were lovely and peaceful. Lesley was great too. Very helpful and nice. We had a great weekend.
It’s a very nice little home stocked with everything you might need for your stay. Kevin was extremely helpful and the check in process was very easy. The hot tub was awesome, it was nice and relaxing sitting in it and watching the stars at night. My wife and I had a very nice stay,I would recommend staying here if you’re going to be in the area.
cute little place that has everything you need for a weekend trip. neighbors within sight but didnt seem to ever be home/loud or out & about. Hot tub was a huge bonus- could play a movie on the back of the house if you have a projector. One bathroom of nice size. One TV in the living room. Overall great place & easy to check in and out.
We booked because the proximity to our friend’s wedding venue was perfect and the hot tub was enticing! We were impressed with the scenic and quiet surroundings which gave us a chance to really relax. Everything we needed for our stay was on site, easy to find, and thoughtfully provided.
The host provided guide book/ instruction manual didn’t match up with some of the items actually at the house (I assume things have changed since the property opened and the guide book hasn’t been updated) but Kevin was quick to respond to messages and provide the needed information. He was also very accommodating when we asked for a late check out.
Would consider staying again if we ever need a vacation rental in the area.
We were really impressed with this place. Most of the places we stay at are outdated or have old bedding/furniture ect. But this was was very modern and nice. The bed we were in was very soft unlike most we are use to. The hot tub was great in the evening to just wind down. The only "complaint" we have is the instruction book. It needs updated -- the section about the hot tub did NOT line up with the instructions that were on the wall beside the deck door. The other thing in the book was the instructions about the lock -- it didn't make any sense (sounded like it was for a different lock). Otherwise it was a very nice stay and close enough to a lot of cool stores/restaurants.
Quit, relaxing and clean yet close to attractions!
This is the second time we stayed at this delightful cottage!
Lesley and her husband are wonderful to work with, they are prompt, efficient and so pleasant.
The cottage is clean, we love the decor and the hot tub out back is a plus.
The main bedroom is down stairs and this year we had our teen daughter and an exchange student and they loved staying upstairs.
Yes, there are neighbors but we have not seen them anytime we have been there.
This is a great relaxing cottage that servers our needs.
The have linen, pans, pots, cups, glasses, silverware . There is extra towels for the hot tub.
We do eat out for dinner when here but we do cook for breakfast and lunch ( if there) and everything we need is there.
The deck off the kitchen is a great place to sit in the very early morning!!
We will be back again! Thank you Lesley
My best-friend getaway weekend was a blast!! This cottage was perfect for boardgames, cooking, reading and a wonderful to-go point explore Lancaster from.
It was what we were looking for. If I had one issue it would have been nice to have some of the back property line cleared to look out over the fields.
