This cottage in the village is centrally located in the quaint town of Dauphin Island, Alabama’s beautiful barrier island situated just off the renowned Gulf Coast. This newly renovated home offers the perfect lodging for families, fishermen and snowbirds looking to unwind and enjoy miles of white sandy beaches, fresh Gulf Coast seafood and world-class deep sea fishing and diving

The Space:
In 2022, this island cottage underwent a complete renovation where it was was stripped down to its bones and redesigned with stylish finishes and décor that echo the natural elements of the island. The home was fully refinished with new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful front and back porches, and a bright and airy bathroom with a custom bathtub and shower.

This cottage offer guests a spacious retreat to recharge at the end of a long day on the water. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV and king-sized bed, and the bunk room has large sets of bunk beds that offer a cozy space to retire in for the night.

In the morning have coffee on the front porch and in the afternoon grill out on your oversized back patio. There is no more peaceful location on the island than here at cottage in the village.

Other Things to Note:
Guests must be 21 to book and all the guests must also be 21 or over unless accompanied with a parent. Two dogs max under 75 lbs without prior approval. Please no cats. You will need to use your subscriptions like Netflix etc. for the TVs and there are also plenty of free channels! Local free channels are not provided.

A cozy retreat

The house was wonderfully cozy for the two of us. We spent most of our daylight hours outdoors and the house was a pleasant spot to end the day! Dauphin Island is a great bird watching location and the house is located within a very short walk to a premier birding hotspot. Many other birding hotspots were a short drive from the house. Everything on the island seemed to work well; ferry, parking and pleasant locals! Shopping is limited and groceries should be purchased before driving onto the island.

Vacation

The property was close to everything. But when we arrived the cleaning lady didnt do a good job cleaning the place at all. Inside there was alot if lights that wouldnt work. The place was cute in the inside.
