This is a great place! Very well located for outdoor adventures like the Redwoods, Pacific Ocean, and parks. The host was very kind, great to work with, and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and the comfortable home.
The property is just as pictured. Simple, clean and fit our needs. Easy check in. Could use another lamp in the living room otherwise no complaints. I would stay there again.

Really quite a spacious little building. We were dissapointed that the goat wasn't there is all and the upstairs was a little warm, but the provided fans helped cool it pretty good. It is right off the main road so you'll hear cars go by, but there isn't high traffic. Wifi worked great and beds were very comfy.

Not for families
If you are a work crew looking for a cheap place to stay, this may work for you. I would not stay here with a family. The neighborhood is sketchy. The backyard is on a major slope. The back porch is extremely old. Under the porch there is a bunch of old junk. The house itself was OK, but if you are looking for a trendy cool restored spot this is NOT the place. It’s an old building that has been brought up to the bare minimum. The upstairs was least 10 degrees hotter than downstairs. No central air. One window had no screen, one wouldn’t open, and the other screens were metal mesh that didn’t cover the whole window. The bathroom with the shower is off the main front room. The toilet upstairs is in a tiny room. The place next door (the “diamond in the rough” referred to in the listing) looks like a creepy abandoned building. If you are just looking for a place to sleep at night, this property would do. If you are looking for a fun place to stay with your family, look somewhere else.
