“Peaceful and beautiful view”
Thank you for your kind words
We know our grandparents place is care worn and old.
It made it to 100 years old
our guests that stay in unit 4 on the second floor overlooking the Gulf request it year after year. That early morning view of the calm waters of the Gulf and the beachcombers out for a brisk walk along the beach is mesmerizing. Just so relaxing lying in bed looking out the windows watching the world go by
The place is outstanding. The location is on the beach and the inter coastal away from the heavily populated tourist areas. It almost feels like you have your own beach. The property has a lot of personality and history and the host is excellent. I would stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Curtis Wes Westphal
I grew up here living with my grandparents. They bought Sun N Fun for $28,000 in 1966, My wife Kathy and I bought it from them for $335,000 in 1998 so they could retire. As Tampa grew in size, the rich and famous have discovered our unique "Gulf to Bay" location on the island. The is one of the few places you can build a dock and keep your big boat just steps away, right across the street. That premier feature sent property values soaring. And with that, came a $34,000 property tax bill. Chose us and know that you are helping to save these 100 year old treasures for future generation to enjoy the beach as it was on the old days, simple and relaxing.
Why they chose this property
Boyhood home. Good memories of sun, sand, and surf. Indian Rocks Beach is a small seaside community with good restaurants, vacation rentals from the 1920's and a vibe that brings you back year after year.
What makes this property unique
Florida Gulf Coast beachfront rentals at Grandma’s island beach house from the summer of 1925. The large home and carriage house are now converted into 6 Gulf front villas featuring full kitchens, pillow top beds, and fantastic views. Awarded one of the highest scores on the beach by Superior Small Lodging. Kids love an old place surrounded by water. We are small and personable. Gulf of Mexico and private white sand beach are right out your door. Wade out to the shallow sandbar to explore for shells and sand dollars. Or walk across the street to watch the yachts go by and fish . Old Timers call this part of the island "The Narrows" where the sand is just wide enough for a single row of homes.
