The stay didn’t go as planned!

We arrived from Florida to Baltimore to visit my son, I booked 2 months before and when we arrived at the home I messaged the owner for the code to enter. He wasn’t aware someone had booked a stay so bottom line we had no where to stay. We did get a refund and booked a hotel which was double the price. I will always make sure the owner is in touch way before my stay.
