Although the owner lives on the first and second floors, and a door connects the first floor to the basement apartment, the space is completely private.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the basement apartment and outdoor patio that leads to the basement apartment. They will exit the property using the pathway to the street, and park across the street.

I was super uncomfortable. The host lived there. I did not see that in the disclosure. He kept calling my phone. Wanted to know if I was pulling up when I was pulling up who I was pulling up with when I put in my stay I was coming by myself it was Incredibly cold downstairs. He had to bring me a heater downstairs and it was just like weird awkward he made the whole stay awkward because I did not know that he was staying upstairs the whole time if he would’ve had shared apartment or something like that, then I would understand, but I did not know that And then when I ask for him to cancel when he called me and asked when I was going to pull up. He told me he couldn’t cancel so I could book somewhere else when it said on my end that I had to contact the host so he could cancel and I had to stay in insurance so I could get my money back and it was just it was awkward for my stay and me spending my time out in Maryland, where I was at for my birthday
