It’s all about the view at BLUE SKY RETREAT! The view is like no other you will find at Grand Lake. Just outside the huge windows and doors is a very large deck with a family room style area, a dining room area and a hot tub gathering area. From each spot the view is of main body of water!
From the main floor deck take 8 steps down and the ramp leading to the 3 slip Boat House. One slip is an indoor fishing well. Swim off the dock in tranquil waters inside the wave breaks. The second floor deck is another family room set up with an Eagle Eye view of all the activities. The home has floor to ceiling windows in several rooms which allows you to sit in a cool inside seating area and not miss the amazing view of the water and boats going by. The 5 bedroom 3 full bath home is very accommodating for families. We live in this home full time so we only rent when we are on vacation so it’s fully stocked. Also Ilove flowers so you go out on the deck and you definitely feel like you are on vacation! We have an outside “drink room” with 2 refrigerators to store your beverages. Our Home is perfect for your Retreat and we feel It’s too amazing not to share!

We brought our best friends, our adult children & new grandson for a long weekend. The house was perfect. Spacious rooms, nursery, fully stocked kitchen, clean hot tub, they thought of everything! The decks had plenty of seating with incredible views. The guys played golf at 3 nearby courses. The only negative was the wind off the lake was crazy this weekend & it white capped so we couldn’t enjoy being outside as long as we wanted to be. We would definitely stay here again when it’s warmer!

We had a great time and the house right on the lake was beautiful!!! We took my 92 yr old dad with us and the room on the main level was just perfect for him!!! Had a great stay!!

Amazing Vacation Home

Margaret was a wonderful host and communication was exceptional. Her home was absolutely beautiful and clean and great for our family. The deck provided wonderful views of the lake with lake front access that made boating so easy. Highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again.

The host was the most welcoming of any home we have ever stayed with VRBO, and the most accommodating, hands down! She communicated so well, made sure we had everything we needed. The view was incredible from all angles, such amazing views of the lake!! Cozy home with a well-stocked kitchen, cozy seating, large dining table, highchair, baby items, clean and neat. Great fishing dock! HIGHLY recommend this home for a large family with lots of room to spread out! 10 minutes from the grocery store, 30 minutes the Shangri La Resort.

We are “Lake People”!

Nine family members ranging in age from 7 to 67 spent 5 memorable days at Blue Sky Retreat. We had the greatest time! The home was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed and then some. The outdoor living space, the never ending decks, the unbelievably beautiful views, swimming and boating … everything was awesome! Thanks for the great memories!! We’ll be back!

Beautiful home with absolutely stunning views

We had an amazing time staying a week at this gorgeous home. The pictures really don't do it justice. The outdoor space is perfect, with plenty of dining and seating options, both covered and open patio seating. But the true wow factor is the view. The home sits on a point with unobstructed views of Grand Lake in all directions. We had 2 families stay with 4 teenagers and there was plenty of space. The downstairs room can be used as a second suite with it's own bathroom attached. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils and plenty of dishes. The stand alone ice maker was a definite added bonus. We brought a boat with us and ended up having some mechanical issues with it on the first day. Margaret went above and beyond trying to help in any way possible. Being able to keep the boat at the dock was also super convenient. Overall we had a great time making memories and would highly recommend Blue Sky Retreat.

Hi I’m Margaret And my husband is Dr Ron Oglesby. We purchased this home 6 years ago and have loved experiencing every season!! I live here full time and he commutes back to his practice in Broken Arrow most days of the week. He always says it’s definitely worth the drive!
We will be gone on vacation several times this summer so we decided to rent some while we are away.

Why they chose this property

This property truly has it all! From the back deck that has infrared heaters for winter or use our water cooler fan for the summer. To a hot tub that is the perfect spot to relax and reminisce about the days activities. The inside main floor is all open and surrounded with windows with a non stop view of the water. Upstairs has a Huge master suite with a very large bathroom with shower, jacuzzi tub and large vanity. The king size adjustable bed is perfect for watching the smart TV or gazing out the floor to ceiling windows at the moon as its light dances on the water.
The upstairs has a landing with reclining love seat and chairs that are perfect for a movie you can pull up on Directv or Netflix on the smart TV. Then 3 other bedrooms which are each a little get away.
The indoor boat house is extremely easy to access. There are two slips with garage doors and one fishing well area with sliding doors. The concrete wave breaks can sustain even the roughest of waves. There is a large floating pad that allows the family to relax in the tranquil waters inside the wave breaks.
SO Relaxing!

What makes this property unique

THE VIEWS! Being out on a point my neighbors houses are behind me. We have 269 ft of water front property with a WELL MANICURED LAWN and flowers everywhere. All my workers that work properties at the lake say that our view and property grounds are the best they have seen.
